No it isn't.. They was made illegal in 1994 in the 'Dr Evil' case that put massive restrictions on body modifications in the UK making them fall under GBH, these restrictions was further clarified in 2018 reducing possible charges to wounding or SBH, and to prevent body piercing and tattoos falling under the same restrictions. Because a coin slot piercing involves minor surgery, it falls under the same category as amputation modification, tongue and nipple splitting... even the use of dermal punches and scarification fall into the illegal category.
So those who will do it, will only do so via a verbal referral from someone they know very well..
And just to clarify.. in the same ruling even if someone consents to having it done its not an admissible defence.

I best clarify, that the 'Dr Evil' case i am referring to is the R v Brown case.. the same case also screwed things up for the BDSM scene in the UK, in which a number of things still carry over until today.

I'm in the USA but I'm European. I believe that Poland is still wide open on body mods. But for a coin slot that's a hike.

Thank you. I thought this was the case when I did my research.

Thank you, I will look now. Do you have any recommendations?

Anytime.. People forget that there have been some court cases that have had a massive impact not just on the body modifications community, but also the BDSM/kink community..
After the R V Brown case, which almost made even tattooing illegal in the UK, but fortunately, the Judge had some common sense and clarified that tattoos and some piercings were still legal. As I stated further clarifications happened years later.
But just imagine if there had been a different Judge who see tattoos as antisocial and we would all have to go abroad to get inked.

Yes, I know that case well. I'm glad I can get tattoos and piercings done in the UK as otherwise I'd be arrested!
