Like all things I think what it originally was, and what it has become due to the ignorance of influx of people migrating into these delights your bound to have people
Who don’t do their due diligence, don’t have respect for themselves their partner or the act and it’s no wonder people are hesitant. People jump into something not knowing what they’re doing also not being fully mentally prepared, and it’s no wonder people are traumatized.

Let's not forget that for a full CNC scene that the trust level is higher then just a normal dominant/submissive dynamic. The trust that it won't be taken further than comfort and that the safe word can actually be used and obeyed. A lot of CNC like primal can start in public so it's important to know that the high level of trust is there.
