Mummification

Recommended Posts

What are people's opinions on mummification bondage? Feel like it's very niche and when you explain it a bit taboo, but anyone I've done it with has really enjoyed it.

Just curious (:

From a medical professional standpoint, It works well for people with overstimulation issues, a deprivation of ability/senses, like blindfolded someone. It's very the***utic and easily turned sexual. I don't feel it's any more Taboo than...someone getting a massage, or someone putting glasses on. Just 2 pennies for ya!

It’s a fabulous way to restrain someone completely, without the complicated ropes or chains. You can use domestic clingfilm, or pick up some industrial film from somewhere. I use a heavy duty film to wrap them, then parcel tape over the top to secure them tightly in place. Then you can open up nipples or other sensitive areas so you can enjoy teasing them while they can’t move. From a safety standpoint though always have a pair of medical shears handy to get them out at a moments notice, and always keep them out for area free so you can check their breathing. Absolutely fantastic though.

I've had it done to me very mildly, it's a really great feeling being completely at a wimans mercy as she can do anything she wants.

Love it, complete ***ness plus sensory deprivation makes everything more sensitive.

I had problems dping it because of poor nasal breathing. Made ut da ferous plus harder to shed heat so I tended to get too hot. But niw having fixed that I'd like to try it again. The ironic thing is that I make vacbeds and have put hundreds of people into those. Similar concept but easier and safer, and a very popular way of achieving the same result.

Mummified Pussy? Count me in. I'd be all up in that sarcaphigus.

Autistic info dump. Mummification is very niche, even among heavy bondage enthusiasts and edge players. From a medical standpoint; it can be great for people with physical injuries or disabilities, it does wonders for certain types of autists, and can even be mentally the***utic. From a play standpoint; the only real limit is your imagination. You can use several different wrapping materials such as blankets, plastic wrap, bondage tape, rope, microfoam, vet wrap, bandage wraps, tarps, trash bags, duct tape, and you can combine the materials to fit your preferences. Sensory play, objectification, predicament bondage, temperature play, or just goofing around are all possible. Even bondage art if the Top is feeling creative. For safety; trauma sheers are a must, blankets and ice sheets are encouraged to mitigate temperature shock, and vents and airways are important depending on wrapping materials and tightness of wrapping. Definitely practice for those "Oh, shit!!" moments, and communication is a must. From a personal standpoint; I'm autistic as fuck and mummification is very much a special interest, it does wonders for regulating my nervous system, it helps with my physical disabilities, and it's my highest offering of affection and trust. From my research, mummification bondage became popular in the '50s or '60s, inspired by the medical restraints used in psyche wards, and fluctuates in popularity, peaking in the '90s and again in the early to mid 2000s. Mummification is edge play, and isn't recommended for beginners. There are different types of mummification, and they are encouraged for progression in the following order; Zone: wrapping specific parts of the body such as the hands/arms, feet/legs, and abdomen. Partial: similar to zone, but covering at least half of the bottom's body. Full: a completely wrapped mummy. Online forums and research are a great starting point, but I highly encourage attending 101 demos and classes.
