Lastly, depending on the job, don’t 💩 where you sleep but if the vibes are vibing and you know it’s safe in all ways. Refer to the first and second answers. You are amazing. Thank you beautiful for this wonderful advice!! I appreciate you and I think ur right. The right guy won’t be intimidated by me being myself!
Deleted Member Posted August 8 There are stages. Approaching people in public is hard because you don't know their relationship status. You'll get a lot of rejection just from that, which is itself draining. The only time it's worked for me with customer service people is when I was a regular customer, and we both sent a availabilty signals over time. Getting to the physical stage should come after you've established initial interest. Communicating desire is about maintaining eye contact for a little too long, physical proximity, sort of openness in body posture. Listening to what someone says, etc. You need to LOOK for the signals as well as send them. If you've established this stuff, and both of you are into each other...... just ask! "I'd like to kiss you". I've done the clear work in establishing interest, and the woman has just asked me. It worked. Good luck!

to**** Posted August 8 I’m just wondering why they arbitrarily delete perfectly ordinary inoffensive posts? Anyways… I will repeat… Just don’t be subtle. Don’t even lay it on thick, just come out and say it in plain English. There’s nothing worse for a guy than being expected to be a mind reader. (or not clever enough to catch your flirt)
Sp**** Posted August 8 Be blunt, but respectfully. It’s easier to think „She probably don’t like me“ even with a lot of smiling and subtle signs of liking.
Si**** Posted August 8 I was a bouncer at the biggest club in town. The hottest waitress there, a German stripper (think Marilyn Monroe) flirted with me in a way that still rocks my world when i think about it. It’s the hour before shift, and I’m enjoying my one free beer before shift. I hear her voice behind me, the first time it has ever been directed toward me. “You working tonight?” I kept it cool, without turning around, just said, “Yep” and sipped my beer. She said, “Good” and put her lips to where I swear they touched my ear, and whispered, “I need something to look at.” I still get chills just telling the story.
xR**** Posted August 8 Nice shoes, wanna fuck? 😁 (No, don't do that. It doesn't work. I have tried. 😫)

I’m also in my 40s, so I come from the days when you had normal conversations with people- a simple, polite back-&-forth that takes all of 5-10mins. Now days its all via text, online, and usually after a normal, conversational pace has been established, the other party will simply disappear mid-chat without warning, not following up for hours or even days. If you are so bold as to text a “hello?” or “still there?” they’ll bite your head off like “look i dont sit on my phone all day ok?! I have a life ya know!” and then cut you off by blocking you entirely. In person, as a single male, its even worse. You go to a bar solo, and youre automatically a serial killer and not to be trusted. Its beyond frustrating. Jeepers. Maybe i should just make my own post, asking for advice. 😂🙄🤦♂️🤷 Have had the same experience here

Si**** Posted August 9 Corny come on lines absolutely work. Search for them on Google. There is a million. If you can, fit the situation. I wanted to hit on a librarian. Searched for “cute come on lines for a Librarian” and it gave me one so golden that I use it on any woman anywhere, online or offline. 100% return rate. Even if they’re shooting me down, they reply positively to this one. I hope you don’t mind… I…forgot my library card… But I’m still checking you out.
Si**** Posted August 9 Another thing, never be afraid of being shot down. Hit on THE HOTTEST humans you see. If I get shot down 99 times, that 1 in 100 feels even better. Me? I take rejection with grace. Still smiling. Still joking around. And I honestly feel nothing negative. I got shot down literally AT the grocery store that I just came from. I’m 44 and saw a woman probably half my age, yoga pants hiding nothing, one shirt size tighter and she wouldn’t have been able to expand her diaphragm to breathe. Body could not have been drawn better by an artist. I pulled my SUV right but next to her and asked if she liked Heavy Metal music. “Uh. Ya. Sometimes.” “Sweet. Big concert later this month. My date, my brother, backed out. Has to tattoo that night. You wanna go?” “No thanks.” And smiled at me. “Alright. Have a good one!” 👋 And even still, I am totally unaffected by her Next-ing me. 🤷 Her loss. lol. “If that chick don’t wanna know, forget her.” As Thin Lizzy says on the song that’s on my radio. “The Boys Are Back In Town”

Reminds me of a stripper that flirted with me at a strip club years ago at a bachelor party. I never tipped her because I know better, but I'd pay for my bachelor friend. She singled me out, came out to talk to me, and kissed me on the nose. and pointed me out to her other stripper friends who'd tease me on stage. Still unsure if it was a real flirt or not for obvious reasons. But I established myself as a rare non-ATM, but also not a cheapskate, so maybe. I still wonder about her 13 years later, but I was in a relationship at the time so couldn't reciprocate.
Re**** Posted August 9 The easiest way to get someone to open up is to show interest. Pay a genuine compliment or ask about eyes, clothes, a unique backpack. Find a good conversation starter. You can also make them laugh. The worst pickup line I've ever heard is, hi my name is Chance. Do I have one? 🤢🤨 Use funny stuff to get people to open up. Weather and music are good topics that are fairly benign. Get them talking and have fun.
Deleted Member Posted August 9 You’d be surprised how many people are receptive if you just be yourself You don’t need a like or flirt. Just eye contact that is a moment too long. That’s enough.
bu**** Posted August 9 For me, dating has never been easier, I was a nervous klutz as a *** and into my early twenties, went years between relationships with no success. Apps make it far easier, like all the profiles that remotely fit your goals, send interesting messages to those who you particularly like, then have conversations, meet in person as soon as you feel like there is some possibility of you liking them. Go in with no expectations other than a nice drink/meal/ whatever, and if something happens great. Don't be scared to speak your mind. We (men) are pretty simple beings.
Am**** Posted August 9 As a woman, you have a move that will weed out the time-wasters pretty quick. If the date is going well, gently (and not in a weird way) initiate contact but something like leaving your hand next to his on the table. If he doesn't pull back, make eye contact and then look at his lips. If he still doesn't get it, you might need to just ask if you can kiss him 😆
ki**** Posted August 9 Lol all these long winded answers. Just talk to them like they are normal and flirting will come naturally. You can't scramble eggs if you dont know where the eggs are
Sa**** Posted August 9 Personally for me I just basically tease them til they realize that I'm interested. Getting caught looking is always a good start. But eye contact is very key in these situations it seems. Being on the spectrum makes things difficult because of this along with understanding non verbal que's.🙄 It's honestly just a nightmare

Bo**** Posted August 9 Depends where you work, as a bartender I just viewed giving/numbers as providing a high level of customer service 😂
Ea**** Posted August 9 Ignore the assholes. Just mention that they are cute and that you wouldn't mind their number in your phone, but make sure you have your phone in your hand so they don't assume you are just being flirtatious or friendly noncommittally.
