Who’s Over it?

You need help getting, some do. The rose-colored glasses are just too strong. You have to make a decision with your mind before your heart or the spirit pays.

This is my thought process exactly. Growth should exist in relationships. People are gonna change, that's one of the good things about being human. I want my partner to be better, to do better. I want to be their cheerleader & root for them. So that they can have the strength to get up & fight back whatever life throws at them. Because people deserve to have someone to believe in them.

I couldn’t have said it any better. A relationship of any sort doesn’t work if there’s not trust, communication, acceptance, growth, and a puts perspective into for you type of person even you actually really need it. Like; it helps to listen to hear and understand instead of thinking of your response while the other person is talking

After my 15 year, highly abusive marriage I am finally out of I find myself 3 years later wanting the intimacy I crave but am terrified of ever opening myself up again to a woman. Its safer to be alone and quiet than to be *** and open.
