Men Want to Feel Desired, Not Just Useful

Recommended Posts

I’ve given up on being desired and I just want to be useful enough that I don’t get discarded. I didn’t know feeling desired as an option.

While the premise of your topic is true, men want to feel desired… your analogy is incorrect. One is a physical look, while the other is sexual. It’s not comparable in the same way or you get a mismatched analogy like you did.

Truth be told, I agree in most situations, but it depends on how much it affects me.

Personally, for me to be even sexual I have to have some sort of a connection to my partner, even in casual play. Some sort of friendship or similarities such as topics of interests. For those situations, if it's a FWB or no romance it doesn't bother me as that is what my partner and I both desire, physicality, stress relief, mutual fun. While it may sting a little, I understand the meaning behind it and it doesn't detract me from the act or fun times with my play partner.

However, if romance is involved, or strong feelings beyond mere physicality, absolutely. I want to be desired by my romantic partner just as how I desire them, closeness, romance, and want to share in that feeling with each other. The phrase in that case does hurt, but that's because of the context behind it.

Ok I'm just trying to get the consensus. Are there men not feeling physically wanted is that what we are discussing. If so I think it can happen but by no means is it an epidemic. Also if it's about desire for a man I think technically you should blame the people who cast shame on a womans wants and desires . I feel so confused cause so much is being discussed at the same time is it physical attraction, penis size or usefulness we are discussing?
