Did you ever feel or experience pushback in assuming your role? Throughout my adult life as a sub/switch male, I have personally experienced a lot of apprehension when it comes to my role -something along the lines of men are supposed to be in control, and women are not. If you experienced similar apprehension, how did you overcome it? Does it still feel strange to go against the societal norms of power? I appreciate any answers and discussion.
