Most of my trans friends are ftm. I have one (mtf) that I'm the closest with and she's amazing. We're platonic friends though. Sorry may not answer specifically what you're asking.

I think connection is key. Being trans whether it be male2 or female2 - that isn’t and shouldn’t be one’s entire personality. So, personality, confidence, humor.

Honestly - that applies to any and every identity/sexuality/gender. What makes up the novel… the words on the pages, is far more important than the book cover.

My best friend is trans, but after 8 years and no kiss or indication of any attraction towards me. Alas she has become a recluse and doesn't visit with me or go out to dinner since she retired. It's sad.

I helped her realize who she was and fully financed all of her care and when she was finally reaching her goals, she cheated on me with her coworker and left me. So I’m sorry to say my first experience was not great.

I consider myself pansexual. I have dated many trans women over the years and have found them to be mostly genuine and confident in themselves. To me, they are just humans looking for love and kindness just like anyone else.
