Folks are stupid. They mess it up for everyone else. I usually say something to the time of , "Nice picture. I see you have similar interests as I. Care to chat?" Usually ignored. Every now and then I get some interest.

It really all depends on the city you're in and what people like at the time I've lived in areas to where as soon as I put up a profile I'm being inundated with messages. In other cities literally nobody messages nobody responds everybody's like You're not good looking so literally it's just the people the area and what they like it's really weird I didn't think it was a thing until I started traveling and living in other cities.

True. I mean I have my primary interests but hey, it would be nice to actually build something meaningful with someone interested on those shared interests rather than just a play partner. And if someone wants more than what I can offer, I do try to be honest with them early or I dont initiate.

It’s really heartening to see the vast majority of the community agree that not reading and respecting profiles is unacceptable. I love watching community come together.
