No, is not about "munching" anyone (whether actually or desiring to) - a Munch is a social gathering for like minded people usually held in a restaurant or bar - unless otherwise stated is purely to socialise and network with others - whilst it's possible you may meet a prospective partner at one that is *not* the purpose of most munches.
