Can someone explain exactly WTF is a munche??

[ex****]

A group of kink people meeting at a restaurant to enjoy each other's company and connect.

So- it’s like a lunch, but for people that you maybe want to munch? I guess I follow that

No, is not about "munching" anyone (whether actually or desiring to) - a Munch is a social gathering for like minded people usually held in a restaurant or bar - unless otherwise stated is purely to socialise and network with others - whilst it's possible you may meet a prospective partner at one that is *not* the purpose of most munches.
.
I help run one locally to me, and attend others, and they're a great way to get to know others and for them to get to know you in a no-pressure vanilla setting.

FetLife has a lot of community events and munches that will be listed near you.
