Are fantasy and reality connected ?

[ne****]

Is sexual fantasy a let down when made into a reality?

[co****]

It depends on the fantasy, communication and skill of those involved.

[ja****]

Of course it does, it will require your brain to chaise your fantasies in reality and vise versa, as an example if your fantasies are including cuckoldings you’ll find your self chasing girls that are pretty much above your league, and if you we’re friend zoned a lot as a ***ager, you’ll find yourself accepting the cuckolding fantasies or hating it depends on the experiences.. however it’s what drives you and what’s make you make most of your choices.
Personal opinion

Sometimes it can be, sometimes it matches - depends on the fantasy, the circumstance and much more besides.
.
The experience can even vary from person to person and time to time.

That is such a great question that I’ve never really put much thought into. For me, I guess reality most often doesn’t live up to the fantasy, but with rare true connections reality can even be better. It depends on the connection for me.

[Fr****]

Depends on the connection. If you’re doing it with someone (or someone’s) and everyone’s invested I think there’s a far higher chance of it being what you want it to be than if the energy for it is low

Experiences are not let downs.. just not what you thought it was going to be .. growth🤷🏽‍♂️

Sexual fantasies can be a letdown when turned into reality because they’re idealized, free of real-life awkwardness or emotional complexity. Sometimes they’re more about the idea than the act itself. But with open communication and realistic expectations, acting on a fantasy can also be meaningful and revealing—just don’t expect it to play out exactly like it does in your head.

Probably

[Deleted Member]

Nope.

[st****]

That can be answered in many ways. Depends on the people, communication, and comfortability. Things can go well or not so well. That goes for any sexual play. Fantasy and reality can definitely exist together, though.

One word: Role Play. It makes Fantasies real. Otherwise they are just ideas. "OH my friend wear lingerie" but if lingerie doesn't give you a boner it's neither a fetish nor fantasy.

If it truly becomes a reality, then the act itself shouldn't be a let down. If you are let down, did you truly make your fantasy into reality? Or did you only attempt to?

[Da****]

I am going to venture out here and say I think the jury is still out on this. There are some that will say absolutely and then you'll have some say it was a let down. It is half in one hand and 6 in the other. I've had some of my fantasies fulfilled and yes some have Been a let down but there are some that have superceded my fantasy. A lot depends on the person. We have to realize our fantasies are fueled by the porn industry both movies and literature. I think maybe asking the question like this would generate a more than honest answer. Are there any fantasies that were a disappointment ?? Now are there any that you would like to repeat??

[Ne****]

With the right amount of communication they are

[om****]

Communication is key, as long as you express your fantasies to your partner

[Da****]

Mine aren’t mainly but I do have some that I’d try and some that I wouldn’t but still enjoy

But yours are up to you and you’re partner if they’re connected or not you make the rules in your own environment and don’t let anyone else tell you different

And your last question I’ve had some that when tried were rubbish compared to what I thought (once ended up with 3 women in a bed and it was shocking) and I’ve had some that by far exceeded what I fantasized (got Dommed and that was nuts and evolved the fantasy further)

Go with your gut and what’s comfortable and don’t *** it they’ll be the ones that wont live up to it

[ne****]

Almost always, at least in my experience, limited and underfed as it may be

[Ro****]

Honestly, it depends, there's a few variables like connection and compatibility that are unique to the circumstance as well as the level of preconceived ideas of the fantasy. As I evolved in knowledge and experience, I have realized my fantasies evolved more geared towards what actual reality is like.
Sure, I've had letdown experiences, but don't assume just because it didn't work that way. Does not mean it won't blow your mind and then some, when some variables change.

Absolutely, its all in the beholder and there slaves💯🔥

[ey****]

It genuinely depends on the fantasy (and the efforts to make it a reality)

Like there were activities I wanted to try and had wanted to for a long time and when I finally got opportunity - enjoyed this even more than I thought I would.      However, there's others who've had long term fantasies involving activities where - it actually turned out to be not what they expected - like, *** play actually hurts, some stuff involving bodily fluids is unpleasant, etc

and then also something where... it's a bad experience because of a mistake (i.e. pegging with a dildo too large)

but often it's more scenario based where folk find fantasy falls sharp - the old "live in sub" fantasy for example

[Strait8jacket]

It’s possible to achieve that reality. With Communication, negotiation, and finding mutual interests it’s possible.

[ca****]

Good question.

I suppose a fantasy or our own, works for both / all parties (when it is your fantasy).....  ie in the mind it works how you want it to work for you and the others part also works for you and I expect them (in your fantasy).

When it comes to the reality the role of the other /s really has to align for it to be as you fantasized........  I expect on many occasions this is not how it plays out and might not match the expectation of your fantasy, on the other hand it might exceed them!!!!!!!!

Only one way to find out ;)

[Ze****]

I think all parties have to be open to express what worked and didn’t work for them then the positive feedback could help improve future scenes.

i have been very fortunate as I've been able to act out several of my own fantasies. Some more elaborate than others. Maybe it's due to the fantasy building its self up over time, or the anticipation of it all, but I've found in every case the fantasy is always better than acting out the fantasy. Even when you can reproduce it perfectly, thats all it is. A representation of the fantasy. The fantasy will always be a fantasy.
