He watched, as she moved,
In the evening air

And the moonlight, highlighted
each strand of her hair

Un-nerved but un-phased,
he held his own ground

And she smiled back, at the man,
without making a sound

With a soul full of scars, she could
read in his eyes

That this man had known hell,
whilst he was still alive

And he gazed at this woman,
this wonderful light

And although it was dark,
she was the most beautiful sight

No words need be spoken
and she reached for his hand

And her light filled this man,
To help him understand,

That even in dark, a light,
still can be found

And a soul can be healed,
without making a sound
