Fetish Weekend London 2026 – New Format, Intimate Scale, Consent-First Structure

Exclusive insights from hosts Madame Caramel and Mistress Tess

If you’re looking for a kink event in London or a fetish weekend with that actually has substance, keep your eye on this one in 2026. Imagine a red double-decker bus cruising through London, full of latex, leather, huge smiles, and a DJ who refuses to let the bass behave. Everyone’s got a drink, tourists are gawking, locals are filming, and the vibe on board is pure “yeah, we’re really doing this.”

And that’s just day one.

After years of London feeling a bit dead on the fetish weekend front, Fetish Weekend London 2026 is coming back, but different. Smaller, sharper, and with something to say.

This isn’t about recreating the past. It’s about how the BDSM scene has evolved over time. Expect a weekend built around real human interaction, active consent, and workshops that aren’t just tacked on for show.

Dates: 2 to 5 April 2026
Size: around 750 attendees
Positioning: curated experiences, serious workshops, and nightlife with structure, not chaos

Fetish Weekend London in three words

Curated. Social. Consent-first.

If you already know the scene, think smaller scale, tighter programming, and more intention.

Fetish Weekend London 2026 positions itself as one of the most structured fetish events in the UK calendar.

What Fetish Weekend London 2026 actually is

Fetish Weekend London is a four-day program built around nightlife, workshops, meetups, and play-friendly spaces. The structure makes it easy to choose your pace across the weekend, from easing in through the social stuff or diving straight into skill-based sessions and late-night events. Come for one night, or map out a full weekend that matches where you’re at.

No one’s forcing you down a single track.

Think of it as a fetish event in London that gives you options. New to all this? There are gentle on-ramps. Been around the block? There are advanced workshops that won’t waste your time. You can flirt, observe, chat, play, or just be present in a kink space without feeling like you need to perform for anyone.

Who it is built for, and who it is not

This weekend is built for people who like their kink with clarity. Clear rules, clear boundaries, and a program that respects different comfort levels. It works for first-timers who want structure and a safer way in. It also works for experienced attendees who want curated spaces, not just crowd density.

If you’re looking for a more curated, human-scale experience, this weekend is built with that in mind.

The size is intentional, and so is the tone.

How it compares to Berlin and Amsterdam

Across Europe, big European fetish events come in a variety of formats, from large-scale, high-energy weekends to smaller, more curated experiences. Fetish Weekend London 2026 leans into the latter, with a structured program, a human-scale crowd, and a strong focus on workshops and social flow.

The result is a weekend that’s easy to navigate and designed to support connection, learning, and choice.

Safety and responsibility

This weekend is structured around enthusiastic consent, clear community rules, and adult-only participation. Consent protocols are en***d across the weekend. This is not optional, and it is not decorative. Entry requirements and local conditions can change, so it is sensible to review official updates before planning travel or participation.

In your words: what is the Fetish Weekend?

Madame Caramel & Mistress Tess:
The Fetish Weekend is a 4-day-long fetish event in the British Capital of London, and everyone is welcome to attend.

What sparked this "bold new era"? Why now?

Madame Caramel: That was my idea. After 7 years, London didn’t have a fetish weekend, and I thought, “Why don’t I do it? I already did the Femdom Ball in October successfully, why not the Fetish Weekend London?"

Mistress Tess: I'm so happy she invited me to do it with her. We’re both experienced in organizing events, so we make a great match.

Madame Caramel – The FemDom Afternoon Tea is limited to just 25 tickets. With your experience creating elegant Femdom experiences, what can attendees expect from this high-protocol session?

Madame Caramel: It's all about us ladies. We’ll indulge in high tea while seated, while our boys can enjoy their food in dog bowls (so they know their place). We’ll be dressed to impress and then play with them. The boys are expected to serve us, helping with everything necessary, while we converse, connect, and relax.

Mistress Tess, the Kinky Bus Tour sounds like exposure temptation on wheels. Convince us to give in.

Mistress Tess: Picture it: DJ, bar, amazing people — all in our fetish finery — enjoying all London's landmarks and great conversation until we join the others at the hotel. It’s going to be fun. There’s nothing better than being surrounded by like-minded people.”

With workshops selling out left and right (Caning 101 already gone!), what's the education angle like?

Madame Caramel: All classes are sold out! That being said, we never charge for the classes, so people can still join the waiting list. If someone drops out, you can join.

Mistress Tess: It's a great addition to the weekend, having our amazing BDSM educators teach what they do best to new and experienced members of the community, or those who are curious. Everyone is welcome.

The lineup is stacked with performers and DJs. What are your highlights?

Madame Caramel: I can’t wait for Karina Electra and Evyline, both Dominatrix DJs.

Mistress Tess: Everyone, really! We’ve selected amazing DJs.

Mistress Tess – If a curious Fetish.com reader has never been to a big kink event, what's the one thing you'd say to convince them to dive in?

Mistress Tess:  Be brave and come try it for yourself. Get a nice outfit, join the conversation on social media on X or Bluesky, where we all are. You’ll find friends and really amazing people to get to know.

Madame Caramel: For those who know the scene inside out, what hidden gem at Fetish Weekend London 2026 might still surprise even the most experienced players?

Madame Caramel: That’s a secret! But we have amazing things planned outside of the program.

A Special Thank You

A huge thank you to Madame Caramel and Mistress Tess for bringing Fetish Weekend London 2026 to life. Their passion and expertise in curating such a meaningful and exciting fetish event make this weekend something truly special.

We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Why this event stands apart in 2026, and who it is really built for

London’s fetish calendar has been noticeably sparse since 2019, while larger destination weekends grew in cities like Berlin and Amsterdam. Fetish Weekend London 2026 is filling that gap without trying to copy anyone else’s template.

The differentiator is structural: smaller scale, heavier education, curated experiences, and consent baked into operations rather than added as a caption. The workshop demand speaks for itself. When sessions sell out quickly, it usually means people are not only looking for a party. They want skills, language, confidence, and safer practice.

If you want a weekend where you can actually meet people, learn something, and still dance your face off at night, this is built with you in mind.

Low, Medium & High Protocol in BDSM. Understanding the Different Levels of Structure in a D/s Dynamic

One of the things I repeatedly notice when discussing BDSM education is that people understand labels such as Dominant, Domme, submissive, Master, Mistress and slave yet considerably fewer people understand what protocol means within a power exchange dynamic. Someone can know that they are submissive without knowing what level of structure actually suits them, someone can identify as Dominant without wanting to manage another person's behaviour throughout the day and someone can be deeply submissive while having absolutely no interest in living under High Protocol. None of those positions is contradictory and this is where Low Protocol, Medium Protocol and High Protocol become useful concepts. Protocol in simple terms, describes the agreed standards of behaviour, etiquette, rituals, communication and conduct that operate within a BDSM power exchange relationship or environment. The greater the protocol generally speaking, the more structured and intentional those expectations become but there is something important I want to establish immediately, Low Protocol does not mean less submissive and High Protocol does not mean more submissive. Likewise, practising High Protocol doesn't automatically make somebody a better Dominant. These are different ways of structuring consensual power exchang and personally, I train submissives in High Protocol so this is an area of BDSM that I take particularly seriously. High Protocol training is very different from simply handing someone a list of rules and expecting obedience, it requires patience, consistency, education, communication, gradual development and perhaps most importantly, an understanding of why the protocols exist. So what actually separates Low, Medium and High Protocol? First: What Is Protocol in BDSM? Protocol is essentially a framework governing how people within a BDSM dynamic interact, it can cover something as simple as what title a submissive uses for their Dominant or become considerably more detailed, involving expectations around posture, greetings, service, presentation, communication, permission, routines and behaviour. Protocol might apply constantly, it might only apply at home, it might apply at BDSM events, it might activate during scenes and it could apply during designated periods. Different circumstances may even have different levels of protocol for example, a couple could ordinarily operate under relatively Low Protocol while moving into Medium or High Protocol for particular events, rituals or periods of intentional power exchange. This is why protocol should never be treated as three universally standardised instruction manuals, there isn't a secret BDSM headquarters issuing everyone the official High Protocol handbook. Humanity has somehow survived this administrative oversight, what one Dominant considers Medium Protocol might feel relatively demanding to another. What matters is that the people involved understand what their protocols mean within their relationship. Low Protocol: Structure Without Constant Formality Low Protocol is generally the most relaxed of the three, there is still an acknowledged power exchange but it doesn't necessarily dominate everyday interaction. The Dominant and submissive may interact relatively normally for much of their day while maintaining particular rules, rituals or expectations that rein*** their roles. A Low Protocol submissive might use an agreed title for their Dominant in certain circumstances, there might be particular rules around communication. There may be expectations surrounding checking in, completing agreed responsibilities or asking permission for specific things. There could be rituals before or after a scene but the submissive isn't necessarily expected to maintain formal behaviour constantly. Low Protocol can work particularly well for people who want power exchange to form part of their relationship without structuring large portions of everyday life around it, for some people, this provides exactly the balance they need and that deserves emphasising. Low Protocol isn't BDSM with the difficulty setting turned down. It is simply a different style, a beautifully functioning Low Protocol relationship is considerably healthier than an elaborate High Protocol relationship that neither person can realistically maintain. What Might Low Protocol Look Like? Because every dynamic is different, there is no mandatory checklist however, Low Protocol might involve things such as agreed titles, simple routines, occasional acts of service, expectations around communication, a small number of standing rules and particular behaviours that become active during BDSM situations. The submissive may otherwise retain considerable autonomy, they aren't necessarily asking permission throughout their day or following extensive behavioural expectations. Instead, protocol becomes something that quietly rein***s the dynamic without controlling its entire rhythm. For beginners, this can also provide an accessible way of discovering whether they actually enjoy structured submission. Someone may fantasise about living under enormous amounts of control and then discover that they prefer having only a few meaningful rules and that discovery is valuable. Medium Protocol: Greater Structure and Consistency Medium Protocol sits somewhere between relaxed power exchange and highly structured submission, this is where protocol tends to become more visible and consistent. The submissive may have a greater number of responsibilities, there may be established rituals. Forms of address may become more important, service expectations may become more detailed. There may be specific ways of requesting things, reporting tasks or acknowledging instructions. Certain behaviours may be expected automatically rather than only when specifically requested, the relationship begins developing its own recognisable structure. Importantly, Medium Protocol still doesn't mean that every second of someone's life is controlled. There may be clearly defined periods where protocol applies and other periods where both people interact more casually, this flexibility is one of the reasons Medium Protocol can work well for people who enjoy meaningful structure but don't necessarily want the intensity of High Protocol. Medium Protocol Requires Consistency The more structure you introduce, the more consistency matters. If a Dominant establishes ten rules but only remembers three of them, the submissive receives conflicting information about what actually matters. Likewise, constantly changing expectations without communication makes meaningful training extremely difficult. Medium Protocol therefore begins requiring greater responsibility from both sides, the submissive needs to understand expectations, the Dominant needs to communicate and maintain them and both need to identify when something isn't working. Protocol should create clarity, if your system creates constant confusion, something needs adjusting. High Protocol: Highly Structured Power Exchange High Protocol is where structure becomes considerably more detailed, this is the area in which I personally train submissives. When I talk about training somebody in High Protocol, I'm talking about developing their ability to understand and operate within a highly structured, negotiated power exchange environment. High Protocol can involve extensive expectations around behaviour, etiquette, communication, service, ritual, presentation, posture, forms of address, permission and personal conduct. The important word remains, Negotiated. High Protocol isn't an excuse for a Dominant to suddenly announce control over every aspect of another person's existence, the scope of authority should still be established between consenting adults. Once that framework exists however, the submissive may be expected to maintain considerably higher levels of awareness regarding their behaviour. They aren't simply responding to individual commands, they are learning a system. High Protocol Is About More Than Rules This is where people sometimes misunderstand High Protocol, they see the visible behaviours. Perhaps they see someone standing a certain way, using a particular title, waiting before speaking, following a service ritual, requesting permission, completing responsibilities in a particular order and they assume that High Protocol is essentially a massive collection of rules but it shouldn't be. Rules are only one component, High Protocol is about intentional behaviour. The submissive gradually learns what is expected without requiring constant correction, rituals become familiar, communication becomes precise, service becomes structured, expectations become understood. The submissive develops awareness of themselves, their environment and the dynamic. That doesn't happen overnight, which is precisely why I describe what I do as training. Why I Personally Train Submissives in High Protocol When I say that I train submissives in High Protocol, I don't mean that I take somebody and magically turn them into a universally trained submissive as there is no such thing. I train them within a particular framework of High Protocol, that distinction matters. My expectations as a Domme may be completely different from another Dominant's expectations, something I consider important might be irrelevant to somebody else. Another Dominant may use protocols that I don't use at all and therefore, a submissive trained by me isn't automatically trained for every future Dominant they might encounter. What they can take forward is experience, they can learn discipline, communication, self awareness, consistency, service, etiquette, how to receive and clarify instructions, how to understand structured expectations and importantly how to recognise what forms of protocol genuinely suit them. That knowledge belongs to the submissive, my personal rules don't necessarily belong to their next relationship. High Protocol Training Should Begin Slowly A complete beginner should not walk through the metaphorical door on Monday and be expected to perform like someone who has lived High Protocol for ten years by Tuesday, that's ridiculous. High Protocol contains learned behaviours, those behaviours need repetition. A beginner first needs education, what is expected?, why?, what does a particular protocol mean?, when does it apply?, when doesn't it apply?, how should mistakes be communicated?, how does the submissive raise concerns?, what happens when ordinary life prevents a protocol from being followed? Once those foundations are understood, additional expectations can gradually be introduced. I would much rather see someone properly understand five protocols than badly attempt fifty. Protocol Should Have Context Another distinction I think people should understand is that protocol can change according to circumstances, someone might operate under High Protocol privately while using considerably lower protocol publicly and why? because context matters. Work matters, family matters, privacy matters, social environments matter, safety matters. You don't stop having a power exchange relationship because you aren't visibly performing it every second of the day and a subtle look between Dominant and submissive can communicate something nobody else in the room even notices. Protocol doesn't need an audience to be real. High Protocol Requires a Responsible Dominant There's considerable discussion about what High Protocol demands from submissives, there should be equally serious discussion about what it demands from Dominants. If you're creating extensive structure for another person, you need to understand the structure yourself, you need consistency, you need communication, you need emotional regulation, you need patience, you need to recognise mistakes, you need to distinguish deliberate disobedience from misunderstanding, exhaustion, illness or circumstances outside someone's control and you need to understand the enormous difference between authority and entitlement. Calling yourself a Domme, Dominant, Master or Mistress doesn't automatically make everything you demand reasonable. High Protocol should magnify responsibility on both sides of the slash and not just obedience on one. High Protocol Doesn't Remove Consent This deserves its own section because BDSM conversations occasionally wander into bizarre territory around this subject, a submissive living under High Protocol remains a consenting adult. Protocol doesn't erase consent, neither does a collar, neither does a title, neither does training, neither does ownership language and neither does being in a 24/7 dynamic. The relationship can contain negotiated expectations around obedience while still recognising that the underlying power exchange exists because consenting adults have chosen it, High Protocol should make communication more sophisticated not eliminate it. Protocol and Correction When somebody is learning structured behaviour, mistakes will happen. Especially at the beginning, a submissive may forget a ritual, use the wrong form of address, misunderstand an instruction, complete something incorrectly. That doesn't automatically mean deliberate disobedience, training requires identifying why something went wrong. Did they understand the expectation?, was the instruction clear?, was the protocol realistic?, did circumstances interfere?, was it forgotten?, was it deliberate? Those situations aren't identical and shouldn't automatically receive identical responses, a good training structure teaches, it doesn't simply wait for someone to fail. Moving Between Protocol Levels Protocol levels don't have to remain fixed forever, a Low Protocol dynamic might gradually become Medium Protocol. Medium could develop into High, a High Protocol relationship might later become less structured. That isn't necessarily regression, relationships evolve, people's circumstances change, work changes, health changes, responsibilities change, preferences change and the submissive themselves may change. Someone who once wanted enormous amounts of structure may eventually want more autonomy, someone who initially wanted Low Protocol might discover that structure gives them an unexpectedly profound sense of fulfilment. Neither person should become imprisoned by the version of themselves who originally negotiated the relationship. Different Situations Can Have Different Protocols Another useful way to think about this is that Low, Medium and High Protocol don't always have to describe an entire relationship. They can describe different modes within the same dynamic, for example a couple might ordinarily live under Medium Protocol. During relaxed evenings together, they might effectively move into Low Protocol. At particular BDSM events or during formal service, they might move into High Protocol. The transition itself can even become ritualised, this gives couples considerable flexibility, protocol can breathe. It doesn't need to become a cage made out of somebody's old rulebook. Is High Protocol Better? No and as somebody who personally trains submissives in High Protocol, I think that is particularly important for me to say. I choose High Protocol because I value the depth, structure, discipline and intentionality it can create. That doesn't make somebody practising Low Protocol inferior, it doesn't make their submission weaker, it doesn't make their Dominant less capable and it certainly doesn't mean someone who isn't interested in protocol isn't “properly” involved in BDSM. Different people need different things, BDSM is supposed to give consenting adults tools for constructing relationships and experiences that actually work for them. Turning those tools into another hierarchy where everybody competes to appear more hardcore rather spectacularly misses the point. Low, Medium and High Protocol at a Glance The easiest way I would describe the distinction is this Low Protocol is generally relaxed and flexible, power exchange exists but formal expectations occupy a relatively limited part of everyday interaction. Medium Protocol introduces greater consistency, established rituals, clearer behavioural expectations and more structured responsibilities while retaining significant flexibility. High Protocol involves a highly intentional and structured system of behaviour, etiquette, communication, service and ritual that usually requires considerably more learning, consistency and ongoing maintenance from both Dominant and submissive. These aren't official universal definitions, they're frameworks and every relationship will interpret them somewhat differently. Protocol Must Fit the People, Not the Other Way Around Ultimately, I don't believe the goal should ever be to achieve High Protocol simply because it sounds more advanced. High Protocol isn't the final boss of BDSM, the goal is finding the structure that genuinely works for the people involved. For some that's Low Protocol, for others Medium and for me and the submissives I personally train, the focus is High Protocol and when I train someone within that structure, I'm not trying to erase their individuality or manufacture a generic submissive who can be handed to another Dominant with an instruction manual attached. I'm teaching a framework, i'm developing understanding, i'm encouraging discipline and consistency and i'm teaching protocol while also learning who that individual is as a submissive because the strongest protocol isn't simply the one with the most rules. It's the one where both people understand what they're doing, why they're doing it, what authority has actually been negotiated and where that authority ends. Low, Medium and High Protocol are therefore not measures of how “real” somebody's BDSM is. They are different levels and styles of structure and whether somebody wants three meaningful protocols or an extensively structured High Protocol dynamic, the same principle should remain underneath everything, Protocol should strengthen consensual power exchange, not replace communication, individuality or consent. 45 Likes 9 Replies· 3 months ago

24/7 Lifestyle: Can we see it as another form of cohabitation with more structure?

Hi everybody, I hope all is well with yourselves and your loved ones. I have always considered a 24/7 lifestyle with my slave/sub partner an enormous source of joy and mutual fulfilment. In my eyes is another form of cohabitation between 2 or more lovers only with more structure. The structure is put in place at the beginning of the cohabitation in a consensual way. It aims to spice up and keep the partner(s) excited while still experiencing fulfilment. I could also compare it to an "extended 1950 marriage" without the certificate. Nowadays, you could do a civil partnership with your sub/slave after a period of successful cohabitation and when the camaraderie has remained strong. I would compare this a little like what vanilla people do. First, get together, then cohabitate for a while and then get a civil partnership or even get married. At times I have come across comments about 24/7 that don't match my take of what 24/7 should be. Comments vary from vague suggestions that might be too much for the sub/slave or that it will be overwhelming for both parties. However, the statement that has made me worried the most has been that a 24/7 sub/slave will lose her/his/their freedom totally and will eventually damage his/her/their well-being and mental health! Kinky or not, 24/7 or not, I always assumed we aim to establish a connection with our partner(s). This MUST involve caring for him/her/them! If that is our guiding principle, I cannot see how anybody will be damaged or, metaphorically speaking, "being taken for a ride"! As unfortunate as this might be, in all relationships, vanilla too, cohabitating partners lose interest and even stop being good-hearted towards their partner(s)! I don't recall ever blaming the cohabitation per se for the issues caused. Instead, criticism is directed to the individual(s) who has been misbehaving and have not kept their part of the deal. So I am prepared to accept that there will be partner(s) in a 24/7 lifestyle that hasn't shown matured behaviours to make it work as it should. I wouldn't say of the bat, though, that there is anything wrong with the 24/7 lifestyle itself. I wonder what the take of our community about 24/7 is. Do you also see it as another form of cohabitation with more structure? or do you think there is something inherent in 24/7 making it way too challenging to make those involved fulfilled? In general, what is your take on it? Have you seen examples of happy couples/poly groups enjoying the lifestyle and thriving? Thank you all in advance for sharing your experience with the rest of the community and me.
