I marked our one year anniversary with a collar I hand made for my sub. I did this more for her love.of collars more than the symbolic side of it tbh.
Of course our dynamic was based on a relationship so it was a mix of kink and romance that day. I think it's good to give a.token of some sort to mark the occasion but if course it's down to the individual situation so some may take a different approach.
Though I do think it's an interesting thing to think about and consider different options.
