How To Spot A Scam

Recommended Posts

Yes ! As you mentioned and additionally !
1- they are after LTR
2- there's always wrong details such as high 2-3 feet- weight also !
3- Usually use a weird way of conversation - looking for love, shy
4- wrong ages - they will have 20 years old girl photo and they will write 40 or 50 ! Or something like that
Check for the green dot with after the distance on the profile.
- moving to a different platform is a dead giveaway
- opening with ‘what are you looking for’ and then immediately moving on ignoring the response

I think if they ask to meet them in private house or hotel room straight away could be red flag too.
Good things to watch out for, thanks for the post

7. Clearly not a native speaker of English despite claiming US or UK origin. Common errors: "I will love [like] to" instead of "I would love [like] to"; "I am seeking for" instead of "looking for" or just "seeking". Presumably, this red flag also goes for errors in other languages claimed as their native language.
Geralt-ish Love the name! Where the hell even is pretty prairie?? Lolz
Straight up asking for *** or subscribing to their OF or whatever 💸
Oh I found one who was verified , filled out the test , did everything u said they would not. Then wanted to go to Signal app. What else was the gift cards. I told him I dont deal with scammers. Plus u can snap shot their Pic and do a reverse Chat gpt or AI search. They were using a major porn star Pic and video
The majority of the fake female profiles. Are from men from Ghana, pretending to be women
They will almost instantly asked to take you to another chat site

You can always tell they are from another country because the majority of them can’t speak English correctly Their favorites. Am going to. Am not.
They forget about adding the I before the am.
And there are other tell tale verbal signs that they miss as well. Poor English.
Well. There are ones with multiple photos. And videos. And have you go to a third party app to talk more.
ID is Random name + a number. Jen-46432 for example.

They are often involved in crypto and/or some form of entrepreneurial type of thing.

Push off meetings, phone conversations and/or vid chat.
"Lady something liked your picture" 💀

Theres some apps that are way worse than fet woth bots tho like grindr amd tinder and maybe more... fet is kinda moderate/(very) low bot filled imo
It’s not necessarily a certainty, but I find it interesting when their profile contains a genuine first name in it and yet in their photo they have a necklace that has a completely different first name.😐

Plus some of us looking for ltr are real.

Very true. This may be a kink site but it doesn't change my nature, which isn't built for casual.

I myself have no pics, but an extremely long detailed profile to make up for it. Or to scare people away, not sure which. But thanks for the post because there are a huge amount of scammers on here. 😁

Yeah, the slang they have. I have a friend fron Nigeria, so I know the lingo. For example: I am Raymond by name.
Americans from Rhode island don't talk like that, no.american talks like that.
another example, calling you "Dear" what I'd this 1950?
Common sense goes a long way!!
Why is someone who is looking for a relationship a sign for scammers? This might be a fetish app, but it can be used to meet people who have similar interests and want a relationship.

That’s kind of what I am using this app for.

I am also not a native English speaker (now I am fluent in it), so I probably have ways of speaking that native speakers don’t. So just because someone doesn’t speak English as a first language doesn’t mean they are a scammer
Thanks a lot for this. It seems every other gal here is a scammer. Your points match the pattern exactly
***am is probably the biggest red flag, almost no one uses it to chat other than scammers, also if they have a snap or other social media written on one of the pictures or in their bio, it's either a OF or a scam, but most likely a scam, I also recommend doing a reverse image search with the pictures on their profile, if it's a model or a well known person on another social platform, that most likely means it's a fake account
