Once icons are released, they remain on the site until the end of the hunt.  So even if you join the last day, you can still find them all.

As part of who wins, it's not just about collecting icons, it's also about who helps others.  Gifting icons gets you extra brownie points, as does providing spoiler-free clues for others.

Make a note of where you found icons.  When you gift one, they are given away randomly, so return to the place you found it to retrieve it again for your own collection.
