Sounds like a normal request to me; as long as they're physically able to do the gesture and they don't think that gesture would be offensive, it should be fine.

Not at all. In fact, here's what you should do. Request they reciprocate fresh photos of you showing a certain amount of fingers accompanied by a pose, whether its a facial expression or a position of your body in a specific way. That cannot be anticipated by the person before hand.

Most guys should have no problem infact boosts ego if asked for specific photo women can be a little more reserved but I have asked this before and I’ve got something similar but not what I asked I guess they couldn’t find that picture off the internet idk lol

It's not weird, it's being safe. Which is a good thing. I do it when the talk starts getting serious before we start talking about meeting up so that I don't waste my time.
