La**** Posted October 31 OMG! Sexless marriage usually means you are waiting for the woman to initiate sex. What a lot of married men fail to realize is men and women are opposites (hence the term opposite sex). Women don't have testicles! Therefore, we don't need to be biologically released every other day or so. We don't have that drive! Women can go long periods of time without sex. Especially if raising *** and/or caring for other family members and/or is employed. If you are allowing her to lead the relationship she will lead with social activities, the family, the house, etc. and you just become the follower, a roommate, and taken for granted. Women respect leaders! It is up to you to lead her back to sex in a loving caring way. If you feel this is an impossible task to accomplish then that's where marriage counseling could save you.
ey**** Posted October 31 I think there are a lot of different reasons marriages become sexless - and sometimes the case is then getting to the root cause. Libido can decline with age. With stress/exhaustion. With illness or medication. Whilst it could be that someone's wife isn't up for it as often (if ever) could also be that the man isn't as motivated (for whatever reason including any of the previous) but something like an excitement of someone else can be arousing (whether they are younger, "hornier", up for something so on) or the concept that someone else would find them desirable despite their own advancing age and the changes which go with it. It's often difficult to gauge specific reasons why when it's strangers who are giving limited information and their own side of the story. Not that their perspectives are wrong - but if for example "my partner is tired all the time" is there anything can be done to help them or support them? Which could be something simple like taking on more of the housework, or doing something which makes sure they have time to relax. If medication is affecting their drive, like, again is there anything they think might help. In any case do they themselves feel like they're valued, appreciated, desired and is there anything more that can be done to raise them up, rather than time spent trying to go elsewhere Of course, again, when we're operating on limited information sometimes all avenues are exhausted. Like. Genuinely exhausted. I guess, well... yeah... there are both men and women in similar boats and an appropriate structure might exist. Just... yeah, don't expect to sidestep 'judgement' because things like infidelity falls outside of the remit of consensual kink.
57**** Posted October 31 It is definitely difficult to have a secret,married fwb..I have been with one guy for 8 years who is married. He loves his wife like crazy but she isn't interested in sex since menopause. He was lucky enough to have a job he can work around and roadbike on nice days. We got together on roadbike days a lot. But now that colder weather is coming, back to made up work days. We have been able to keep emotions out and just look at it as sex temporarily. He has no problem going back to his wife. I guess it depends if you can control your emotions and how much you love your wife. It took me a couple of years to not get emotionally connected but now we can have our pleasure and go on with our lives till next time
ce**** Posted November 3 Cheating is a turn off for a lot of people bc it shows that you don't really care about the people you're involved with and that you don't respect them. There's a difference between enm and cheating. This sounds like cheating
