Do search filters actually every work??

I put my search filters for men in x amount of distance, yet I'm getting "possible matches" with men who are only attracted to other men all the time. Or I get women who I'm not personally attracted to. How do I fix this, or are the filters pointless?

There's a slight confusion here.  The sites 'matches' do not take into account ANY filters that may apply to messages/kinksters/newsfeed/spanks/events etc.  They are matching based on indicated kink interests.

There are many places on the app/site where filters are used (such as on your newsfeed), these filters are specific to the functional area and won't apply to other areas of the site.  i.e. you could have a filter for your newsfeed showing accounts that you are interested in seeing in your newsfeed but you wouldn't want to receive messages from them.

"Or I get women who I'm not personally attracted to." Sorry, personally trained AI filters that can read your mind are a little further back in the development cycle :-)

I have filters for the search section though that say man, "x distance" it doesnt make any sense that it would show men who only want men though??

I have the age filter on & it still allows guys outside my preferred age range so i dont think they do work

I feel awful bt i have influx's of 18-30 yr old lads that i jst am not interested in, im 56 i want a man that understands what a woman & submissive like me wants & needs. Im not saying that the younger men dont bt its jst not for me hence using the filter same with the distance i get tons from outside the UK like just no

If only there was a filter to block out folks we weren’t attracted to. That would be the winning algorithm.

No, I totally get what you mean. I'm a lot younger but people my age don't tend to actually dive into the world and community. That's part of why I want older men around 25-37 and yet my feed is filled with dudes who are 18-21 and 60+ 😫 I have nothing against them but when it's not what we want it's not what we want

Honestly, and I feel like with all the filters there shows to be on here, it shouldn't be hard to actually filter out what people don't want for themselves

I think so. I have my filters on and when I go to browse I have the same six or eight girls I usually have. Now if you’re hoping filters will hide random people from looking at you, no that doesn’t work.

Spanks are people who saw you and want to be noticed by you. If you click on browse and have orientation set to straight or bi. You shouldn’t see any gay men. That’s the best I’ve got for you.

That's fair, I did both and I still get so many men who aren't in the filters I put, are gay, etc 🥲 maybe my filters are broken lol
