Pa**** Posted Friday at 06:31 PM The 90's and early 2000's were way more fun than the last 10 year's. People have really changed over the last decade or two. I'm talking about interacting with other people, in real life. Not internet based fun. Somethings have improved greatly but I feel the interactions between humans, in real life, has greatly deteriorated. Do you agree? What do you think is the reason? If you don't agree, why?
Co**** Posted Saturday at 09:54 AM Yes I agree. It's true it's easier now to meet more people on apps like this but it also less connected and has less meaning. People start and leave conversations without any thought, imagine going to a bar and saying hello to 20 people and moving on each time after one sentence. In real life you look further, you try to connect and understand eachother, it is slower but works better and feels more real, because it is!
Ja**** Posted Saturday at 09:54 AM I agree, people have stopped loving people and they love *** more so you see the gap growing. Internet is a big factor and made things easier for people to find love elsewhere and experience cheating before trust and hate before love so the value of love is deteriorated.
ey**** Posted Saturday at 12:37 PM some metrics is kinda different cos we're older I mean also if you're, for example, 38 you didn't turn 18 until 2005 or drink in a bar til 2008 so it does make things a little bias to what your experiences would be like prior to this as a minor. I turned 18 and could drink in bars from 1999, and yeah chatting with others/strangers did often seem a little easier then but a lot was the naivety of youth and that's a two way thing. As a 44 year old going to a space and deciding I want to make friends only works if it's a space where others of a presumed same age bracket are also wanting to proactively make friends. The simple touch above is that there is simply fewer spaces where it is legally permitted to exist without spending ***, or spending much ***, that been said there are a rise of things like community cafe's and equivalent centres where folk with low income can meet and socialise, and have a cuppa and somewhere warm without really spending ***. One of the biggest barriers they face is pride. But I also guess that you don't actually mean "human interaction" - but "woman who is sexually interested in me interaction" which again does have me boggled how you found this easier when you were a minor. But hey ho. But like, we're on a fetish sites and fetish websites still remain just a tiny peak of the iceberg in kink community and eco system. Online has it's own challenges but they can also serve as a supplement to things you do in real life like going to munches or fetish events and making friends - whether you want to fuck them or not.
Tr**** Posted Saturday at 12:43 PM I agree. I find no joy in looking at pictures or video. It does nothing for me. In person you have that level of connection first - visual and physical - and in the past if you said hello to someone, you usually said it to those who got past that process. no ghosting after the first hello. Online there is this effort to build a mental connection first, and often all that effort is lost within 5 mins of meeting someone . Online you use 1 of 5 senses and the other 4 get wasted. In person all of these senses build your passion and desire. The heat of skin, the taste of their lips, and their smell of their essence …. I miss these experiences. And it seems that the majority of encounters are happy to exchange pics and text forever. It is sad and disappointing.
ne**** Posted Saturday at 12:49 PM YES! we had recess at school, more time outside, were not on our phones all day
Ta**** Posted Saturday at 01:50 PM Of course. Humanity has changed for the first time now. Neverever in history have people started shitting on what they perceived to be the demise of their civilisation. (#)Metoo, I yearn for that past when guys tried to make me drunk, when complaining about sexual harassment was a bitchy move and when my gay and trans friends were the butt of the joke so much two of them killed themselves out if ***. Glorious, glorious times.
