mu**** Posted Sunday at 02:10 PM I'd love to hear from any fellow kink community folk that may take bl00d thinning medication and how it might affect or has changed the way you play, especially around impact play.
Ta**** Posted Sunday at 04:27 PM Im not on *** thinners but do have a health condition that makes healing a slower process (Diabetes T2) & i enjoy *** play as well as heavy impact play, as long as your partner is fully aware & your healthcare team (in my case my diabetic nurse) you can still enjoy it bt tailor it to suit both your needs/wants & health but always risk assess per play.
CopperKnob Posted Sunday at 06:43 PM I would be cautious. Anticoags dont thin the bl00d but either prevent clotting or increase the time it takes to clot so the potential for internal bl33ding increases. I would take advice from the prescriber
ey**** Posted Monday at 12:26 AM you're not going to like this. But. you need to speak with a medical professional. Someone who knows your condition, the medication your own, the dosage, any review notes, etc - and that being like your Doctor/GP and not necessarily someone random online cos on one hand of course you shouldn't play to the purpose of bleeding (I mean, not advised at the best of times) but on another - the risk internally there's a story of a sub who needed to go to A&E after their balls swelled up during ballbusting and thinners - and there were internal ruptures.
mu**** Posted Monday at 10:53 AM Author Thanks for the responses,.much appreciated, I welcome the sensible advice. To reassure, I have spoken to the professionals involved in the medication and I am aware of the dangers and risks involved. I was also hoping to hear some experiences, like @eyemblacksheep mentions, and positive experiences also of how people may have adapted
