The Twelve Days of Denial - A Christmas Chastity Challenge

Recommended Posts

I’ve been thinking about structured, seasonal denial and how it can work for both remote and in-person dynamics. I’ve put together 'The Twelve Days of Denial', and I’d genuinely love to hear Dominant and submissive perspectives on it.

The Twelve Days of Denial

A structured chastity ritual for The Dominant and the sub

Before Commencement - Consent & Level Setting

Before beginning, The Dominant and the sub agree:

  • the intensity level to be used (Soft / Medium / Hardcore), or
  • that The Dominant may escalate or reduce intensity at will within agreed boundaries

This ritual works remotely.
It works even better in person.

Consent is agreed once.
Control is exercised continuously.

Commencement – Midnight, Christmas Eve

At midnight, as Christmas Day begins, the device is locked.

This moment is both:

  • the sub’s gift to The Dominant, and
  • The Dominant’s gift to the sub

By taking the key, The Dominant accepts authority and control.
By locking, the sub gives up access, agency, and expectation.

For twelve days:

  • no masturbation
  • no access
  • no assumption of release

The Dominant holds the key.
The sub holds the denial.

Day 1 – A Partridge in a Pear Tree

The Gift

  • Soft - The sub locks and confirms. Ownership is acknowledged.
  • Medium - The sub locks and sends visual proof in a format chosen by The Dominant.
  • Hardcore - The lock is made visible or witnessed within an agreed kink space or posted on a kink website. The denial begins publicly.

Day 2 – Two Turtle Doves

Two Proofs

  • Soft - Two confirmations across the day that the sub remains locked.
  • Medium - Two photo proofs requested at times chosen by The Dominant, with a strict time limit.
  • Hardcore - Two proofs demanded under conditions that remove comfort or privacy, making denial inconvenient and undeniable.

Day 3 – Three French Hens

Service

  • Soft - Three acts of service performed explicitly in honour of the lock.
  • Medium - Service combined with restriction (dress code, posture, or timing).
  • Hardcore - Service performed while physically restricted or mildly punished (e.g. plugs, clamps, or en***d positions).

Day 4 – Four Calling Birds

Acknowledgement

  • Soft - Four calm acknowledgements of control or ownership.
  • Medium - Acknowledgements delivered verbally or recorded, on command.
  • Hardcore - Acknowledgements delivered while uncomfortable, restrained, or exposed within agreed limits.

Day 5 – Five Gold Rings

Reminders

  • Soft - Five symbolic items worn as reminders of denial.
  • Medium - Items chosen for discomfort or persistent awareness.
  • Hardcore - Items chosen to interfere with confidence, movement, or dignity (e.g. restrictive clothing, plugs, clamps.

Day 6 – Six Geese a-Laying

Stillness

  • Soft - Six en***d pauses throughout the day.
  • Medium - Stillness combined with posture or timed holds.
  • Hardcore - Stillness combined with restraint or punishment for movement.

Day 7 – Seven Swans a-Swimming

Display

  • Soft - Seven minutes held in a position chosen by The Dominant.
  • Medium - Held while observed or recorded.
  • Hardcore - Held while restrained, exposed, or deliberately humiliated.

Day 8 – Eight Maids a-Milking

Care Without Comfort

  • Soft - Eight acts of care or tidying.
  • Medium - Care performed while restricted or denied normal comforts.
  • Hardcore - Care performed under added deprivation (e.g. naked, plugged, clamps applied, no hot water).

Day 9 – Nine Ladies Dancing

Control of Movement

  • Soft - Nine slow, deliberate movements performed on instruction.
  • Medium - Movement combined with monitoring or restriction.
  • Hardcore - Movement used to heighten frustration, imbalance, or ***ness.

Day 10 – Ten Lords a-Leaping

Exertion

  • Soft - Ten physical exertions.
  • Medium - Exertion timed to interrupt rest or comfort.
  • Hardcore - Exertion combined with restraint, cold exposure, or punishment for failure.

Day 11 – Eleven Pipers Piping

Deprivation

  • Soft - Eleven minutes of silence and stillness.
  • Medium - Silence while being observed or controlled.
  • Hardcore - Silence combined with restraint, sensory deprivation, or physical discomfort (e.g. a cold shower).

Day 12 – Twelve Drummers Drumming

Accounting

  • Soft - Twelve acknowledgements of what denial has taught the sub.
  • Medium - Acknowledgements delivered under scrutiny or correction.
  • Hardcore - Acknowledgements delivered while restrained, punished, or exposed.

Then the sub waits.

Twelfth Night – The Decision

The decision belongs entirely to The Dominant.

Options may include:

  • release
  • extension
  • or escalation into Dry January - Locked until midnight on 31 January.

No promise. No certainty.

The uncertainty is intentional.

Notes for The Dominant

This ritual is not about teasing release.
It is about removing access, enforcing obedience, and letting denial do the work.

  • Soft - suits newer subs.
  • Medium - suits subs who enjoy *** without exposure.
  • Hardcore - is for subs who want deprivation, discomfort, and control pushed hard.

Optional Add-On – Cellmate Pro users

As a Cellmate Pro user, I’ve included this section for subs who already use remote device-based chastity and want to build that capability into a structured denial ritual. It offers an additional control layer that can be applied at The Dominant’s discretion using the device’s instant shock features. The Dominant decides each day the power level and mode. The number of the day determines both frequency and duration. For example, on Day 5 the sub may receive five activations, each lasting five minutes, delivered without warning and entirely at The Dominant’s choosing.

As an alternative or addition, the GPS function can be used. The Dominant may set a location and time limit, with further punishment applied if the sub is late or fails to comply.

This layer is optional and sits alongside the daily tasks, adding unpredictability and real-time control, particularly effective during video supervision or live tasks.

Conclusion

The Twelve Days of Denial is offered as a seasonal ritual built around chastity, control, and anticipation that The Dominant and the sub can shape to fit their dynamic, boundaries, and circumstances.

It works just as well for remote dynamics as it does in person.
It suits long-term ownership as well as short-term play.
It can be adapted for softer, psychological denial or harder, more physical control.

The Soft, Medium, and Hardcore tiers are there to give options, not prescriptions. Some subs crave *** but not exposure. Some want *** but not physical punishment. Some want all of it (like myself). What matters is that The Dominant decides within agreed consent how this unfolds.

Think of this as a starting point.
Adjust tasks.
Swap elements.
Intensify or simplify.
Extend it into Dry January or end it on Twelfth Night.

What matters isn’t following it perfectly. What matters is the intentional removal of access, the steady build of denial, and the power held by The Dominant throughout.

I’m sharing this idea, and I’m curious how others would adapt it, harden it, soften it, or personalise it for their own dynamics.

So…
who’s tempted?
Who’d change it?
And who’s brave enough to actually try it this Christmas?

Ngl I would love someone to do this with! Thanks for sharing; I always like seeing creative and adaptable ideas for safe power exchange. I will say I like the sort of self care and service elements of this also; I like the idea of self care for a sub being seen as an act of service, like maintenance of the Dom’s property.

New years resolution requirement that's a guaranteed get into shape lol!
