ja**** Posted 12 hours ago I think that this site probably started off being legit and people were connecting more often because the community was smaller and profiles were people actually looking to meet. Just every other platform or dating site, AI and scams have infiltrated almost everywhere and it fuckin annoying and wrong. But that’s the world we live in. I just had a what was a connection, Thurber very good at making believe they were real, I can catch a scammer pretty quick. Just how they talk. The back story and she was apparently from Germany and even her messages were broken English before she even told me that. They rooms full of people all over the world that are well trained at creating believable dynamics in a chat 💬 . This individual whoever it was did a very good solid job until very end. When they whoever it was sent a picture of this girl in a bikini at the gas station. It was hilarious but itvpuddrd me off because I spent like 3/4 days messaging with this scammer. And they were like spot on how a female her age would sound. It scared me actually!! But stung me back to reality. They asked for gas *** from gas station in a huge expensive add SUV. This particular day in South Florida 🌴 was raining and completely dark overcast. Her picture in a bikini and the sky was blue not a cloud and Sunny. This person obviously used pics from someone’s social media somewhere and they just edit fir people to Message and these huge phone rooms that operate and train these individuals to sound real get paid only if they pull off scam. And most of these people are actually ***ed in Southesst Asia, Nigeria etc.. There families won’t eat and they might be killed if they can’t earn micro due these thugs or gangs or militias?? It’s really sad!! They don’t get fired they get killed!! This is obviously not all scammers. You got kid in his Moms basement messing with people while play call of duty or GTA! Then you have drug addicts trying ti scam for ***. I guess what I’m saying is lots of times it’s not a thing most of these people want to be doing..accept for the kid playing video games a few just piece of shit people that don’t want to get a real job like the people they scam. This all around sucks and I’m not giving up here or on X, instagram or any other platform or dating I might use. The woman is there and there is legitimate people in here and out there looking love. And just because there are some scammers doesn’t mean I won’t find someone. You just gotta be careful and be aware of the scams and try and catch sooner than later and report it. The person asked for the classic Apple Pay card. No doubt the worst thing you could say. That’s 💯 a scam every time. I felt like a kid that got stood up school dance. I got myself ready the date, was really looking meeting whoever this girl picture and profile was. Whatever I’m gonna searching for love!!! I’ll find it even if fakes and scammers are out there. It’s scary with the AI now. I won’t even go into that. There are real people on this site and out there looking for love. And connection

Stuff like the, we'll say, fakes/scammers were always here but increased as the site did. They exploded when it got an app. However. In the early days. The big complaint was there were fewer people here, meaning some people had no one in like a 100 mile radius and others had very limited options. Like, consider it started as a German speaking German site (still exists) then branches out into English speaking territories initially UK with slow growth into US and Australia (before other European nations) so as the site grew - real people and 'fakes' grew in tandem. And it's as story as old as the internet.
