When in the world?

There's roleplay and there's roleplay, as it were. Obviously there's the familiar roleplaying that is easily identified. There's enough thread's here enquiring/discussing about those.

But does anyone indulge in historic roleplay, possibly on top of your major kink?
And if so what is your favourite historical period?

For reference I have frequently opted for Georgian/Victorian/Edwardian for the gentlemans suits and I'm sure you can guess.

1500s-medieval times are a natural fav for me and feel less like acting to me, being a Neo-hippie, natural type of person in many regards. I adore all of the non-sexual prologue surrounding Any RP. We live life as though we exist as people in that time and go about all the things people do. S*x happens among typical behaviour so it occurs naturally in that (or any) setting.

I would perhaps get into most if not any? era with enthusiastic partners...

I once entertained a bloke into Star Trek; Ferengi... the ears thing. Doesn't turn me on to rub someone's ears BUT that was hot because we were both on board for it!!

My favs would perhaps be distant past, and extreme future. lol

Medieval would have it's certain attractions. It would be hard to disagree with that. Heaven help me if I end up back in the US at a Renfaire.
