thefootslut Posted Thursday at 10:12 PM Bear with me on this...it's slightly deep! A lot of explanations for foot fetishism lean heavily on taboo — that feet are usually covered, socially neutral, or “unexpectedly” sexual. But I’m curious whether that’s the whole story? Feet are also extremely human: imperfect, expressive, ***, functional, and intimate in a non-performative way. They carry wear, posture, mood, even personality. So I’m wondering — do you think feet are erotic mainly because they’re hidden and restricted, or because they’re grounded, personal, and unpolished in a way other body parts aren’t? Or is the attraction strongest precisely because they sit at the intersection of those two ideas? Interested in hearing thoughtful takes, appreciate it's a deep one, but I've been sat here pondering away!
Ba**** Posted Friday at 01:43 AM I don't think those things have to be mutually exclusive. While feet in the modern western world are usually covered, worldwide, this was not always the case. Even now though women care bare their feet in highly erotic, sexualized even, yet socially acceptable ways that other body parts can not. From pedicures to footwear. You can also get away with public play with feet without anyone knowing or batting an eye. If you slip your foot out of your shoe, under the table, and play coyfully with your partner it will have the desired effect without either of you getting into any trouble. Every time they see your bare feet after things will run through their head. We can't entirely beat the wiring of biology. Think of all the different lines, curves, shapes, smells and textures on that one body part in comparison to others. We can't beat the wiring of our biology again there.
re**** Posted Friday at 02:01 AM Thigh highs are sexy. Long socks too. Some say it’s because it bears all that which leads to what’s covered. Gonna show something which isn’t what you’re after. And all that. Feet aren’t sexy or innately. In themselves as digits. Has anyone been with anyone because that person’s ring fingers are by themselves, hot? A foot uncovered is a sign of vulnerability to the other person’s eye. I myself don’t get the allure of a foot.. in and of itself. .. but the spirit of it if I’m on the right track I do.
Se**** Posted Friday at 02:02 AM Fetishes can be deeply intricate and personal, and I'm doubtful any one description would satisfy most fetishists. My own is tangled in so many things that I can barely describe it to myself. It also feels innate- below language. I can't rationalize it, it was never rational.
Ch**** Posted Friday at 02:44 AM I can’t speak for everyone but I can speak for me : I love women’s feet. I think I just love genuine feminine energy in general. I love everything about the female homosapien’s body. I mean EVERYTHING. It’s just something about the female’s body and I just appreciate every part of it. Hope that helps ❤️

Sl**** Posted Friday at 07:08 AM I have a woman fetish. A head to toes and inside out fetish. Even scars, stretch marks, large/perky/floppy/flat breasts, hirsute or clean shaven, but I digress… Feet 👣 Women, many of you are self conscious and what results is that you typically neglect your feet enough to not pamper them one bit. BC OMG they’ll see my feet? Have a couple drinks or go 420 until you chill. If a guy begs for them and you’re into him, take a deep breath and surrender your tootsies for a spell. Men who like feet won’t steer you wrong. But the block is when someone doesn’t like a part of her body. I try to be reassuring but that falls on deaf ears since anyone who hates what they look like has harbored that negativity for years.
ey**** Posted Friday at 09:20 AM what makes feet a turn on differs by person. some people might think up a reason it works for them and may well be right, but that may well differ from the next person
le**** Posted Friday at 11:22 AM Its because when we came out of the trees we evolved a new bine in our angel. So we made the foot that could walk on land a trait we look for to mate. So you looking for the good feet that can walk upright and hold your child. Thats where it comes from
Deleted Member Posted Friday at 12:14 PM We never really “came out of the trees”. Mixed climbing and bipedalism for millions of years
le**** Posted Friday at 12:24 PM And for those millions of years we struggled untill we evolved that bone. Im not gonna argue science
Deleted Member Posted Friday at 12:49 PM You’re not arguing science, I am. You’re postulating a theory as if it were the law of thermodynamics.
Deleted Member Posted Friday at 12:52 PM We climbed and walked for millions of years with no struggle. Both have advantages and disadvantages and were used accordingly. As we moved into less forested areas we climbed less and less until we didn’t climb anymore. We never came down from the trees.

Think you are right there, there isnt really a hard of fast 'rule' in terms of what is attractive and why, as like you say, everyone finds different things attractive, even subtle little things.
