Feast of Beasts!

Recommended Posts

I gathered them close, one by one,
All softly bound, nowhere to run,
I take the first, feel her breath catch slow,
A whisper given she aches to know.

One trembles low, another one pleads,
One sinks deeper into her needs,
And now it’s time for the strongest there,
The last dark hunger laid bare.

I lift her chin, look in her eyes,
Fingers gentle where tension lies,
She thinks she’s free when I loosen the line,
But every step only draws her to mine.

I lean above her, heart to heart,
Smiling softly as shivers start,
“It was longing that called tonight,
Sweet and cruel in velvet light.”

My hands rise slow above her chest,
I watch her yield, surrender, rest,
My shadows fade, no more possessed,
Last darkness gone—now only breath…

So, so hauntingly beautiful.  I can almost hear the music flowing through as I read, so much so I would love to hear your words as a song 🖤

I read the words you let take flight

Of velvet breath and shadowed light.

You ***t a scene of quiet grace

Where tension thrums in stolen space.

A lifted chin  a steady gaze

Lost within your haunting haze

Where strength is found in yielding too

In quiet moments, deep and true.

You speak of breath and hungers end

Where shadows break and spirits bend.

If longing is the thread you spin

I’d gladly let the dark begin

I felt the shiver felt the line

Your words have drawn your heart to mine.
