Isn’t the whole point of being here to find someone? If you find someone you know in real life that would give you a person you have something in common with. Unless you are creeping and worried they will tell your spouse/partner. Otherwise what are they going to do? They are here too.

gonna say while I don't, I can understand why some might.  It can be the kinda context.   I am aware of ladies where someone they've known in real life has come onto a site and has then caused them to change behaviour towards them, so I can understand even a pre-emptive block if they already know they're not interested

there is also a case of the others motivation - because there's a huge difference between people curious, and those invested into the kink scene.

I have, but as i keep my scene life and vanilla life separate i never interact or contact, one reason i also keep face pics to private.  They are entitled to their privacy and safety and probably freak out and leave if they recognised moi.  Some may not care and that's their preference but some need to keep their lives separate. 

It can be a double edged sword some it can open up a new communication/friendship but others over the years i have witnessed sadly feeling pure horror/anxiety and people disappearing before they can explore or find out.
