How AI is blurring our reality, are our kinks even real anymore, or are we just talking to bots?

It's already revealing that this site and others like it are using AI to help design an overgrowing fake community of users that simply don't exist, to buff up the facade of a popular online platform where it will seem like potential dates are everywhere in order to keep the interest high and the canceled subscriptions low. So not only is authentic profiles detailing and expressing the kinks and desires that make for a genuine connection becoming a rare thing, the person you think that wrote it and shows interests in you is even more rare.... BECAUSE THEIR NOT REAL.

Mind, I guess.

So there is a rise in general of specific AI chatbots.  And, I have looked at some of them, partially through curiousity.  Some are surprisingly good.  Some do have slight memory issues, though in a lot of cases it's a prompt for you to upgrade.    Some will send pictures (which are generally obvious AI) and some will send voice notes (poor, but getting better)

By admission I don't know what the actual costs on some of these are - but - there are some where the paid tiers are £3-£5 a month.   It's possibly unsurprising there's been a rise and interest in them - particularly if someone just wants to sext or so on

I know this site doesn't use that type of user integration. I woudn't be surprised if there is a point other sites do.  To a degree they'd even solve a lot of low level issues.  Albeit, cause their own.

However of course, there are users who have written profiles with AI, or use AI to help them compose messages for whatever reason.   To, somewhat of a degree - that isn't necessarily bad if someone is looking for help avoiding pitfalls or to check tone, but on another hand the messages they send and profiles they write are questionable on if they're authentic, especially if the person hasn't proof read - if they haven't gone "yes, that's me" rather than "yeah, that's good"
