In my opinion, with cushions they are more comfortable and manageable (you can add and remove them based on your comfort) while the furniture is bulky, then it depends on what you would use them for.

Search sex chair on Amazon. I have the sex stool among other things which is great for oral on her in my play. Some other fun things in that search too.
