A completely consenual agreement where one person allows the other complete authority and decision making power to the other.

TPE stands for Thermoplastic Elastomer, which is a hybrid material that combines the stretchy, bouncy qualities of rubber with the easy-to-melt processing of plastic. Unlike traditional rubber, TPE does not need a harsh chemical baking process (vulcanization) to set its shape. This means factories can melt, shape, and recycle it just like regular plastic.

...or what he says...

Good examples of TPE are kids toothbrushes and Yoga Mats and the foamy part of running shoes.

If you have to explain then you shouldn't be explaining it

TPE means total power exchange. Consensual power exchange extends to other areas of the submissive life and is not limited to the bedroom. It also defines the relationship to her/his dominant.

Ranging from clothes, name, hair cut, work, daily life, etc…

TPE is different for different people but it just means the submissive relinquishes the power in most areas of their life.

Excellent explanation! There are of course other nuances to it, but this is a really great base explanation for someone unfamiliar

Must be an engineer, but have purchased the TPE plastic beads you can melt using hot water and then mould into a shape - great for making those things you can't buy off the shelve or too pricey for what it is. Have had a lot of fun with this.

Now going to the question. Trying to explain TPE to someone in the vanilla world will be waste of breath - they won't get it, not got the mindset to cope with it never mind understand what it is all about.

Explaining it to someone in the fetish world will be a lot easier, because there is an element of TPE in the lifestyle.

I my humble opinion TPE is more a mental itch that some have that needs to be scratched, it's a feeling some crave where they don't have any control (for short duration usually, but some prefer it all the time in a relationship).

Giving someone total control takes a lot of trust, clear understanding of limits / boundaries and a level of respect. It not something can iniatate immediately it is something that is built over time be it for the role in play or role full time.

Having said all that I now realise your delima - how to expels in TPE - not sure there is an answer that will fit all - it depends who talking to someone in vanilla world will need an education before can explain it. While someone in the fetish world will come with some education - depending on time in lifestyle and experience.

I my experience steer clear trying to explain anything in the fetish world to those in wanilla world - the two words are too far apart and attract different sort of people.

Thermoplastic Elastomer?!...lol...
It is a relationship dynamic where a submissive partner completely and voluntarily gives up control and decision-making authority to a dominant partner.

Omg THIS!! I've been trying to figure out what I desire the most was called. This is exactly it. Thank you all so much!!!! Even the rubber guy😘

In vanilla terms I would say it is the same as power of attorney, but for all aspects of life, so ***, physical wellbeing, mental health and all decision making from what the slave should wear to how she should style her hair to how often she should exercise, her diet, certain activities she should do. The slave will still function as a human being and will carry out tasks, but TPE takes away all of the stress and angst of having to constantly make choices in this busy world and allows the slave to exist to serve her Master and be the best version of herself she can be under his guidance. It is an amazing feeling seeing a slave grow and become more confident in herself with your direction and support.

Now usually I am not the one to quote movies but watch The Secretary . Explores great amount of TPE .
