Wait.....so if I'm attracted to a trans body.... I'm a "chaser"?
I'm not allowed to be genuinely/sexually attracted to trans people as well as intersex people? Cuz I'll fuck that too if they're willing.

It isn't that. It's if you ONLY go after trans people because we're trans.
Someone being bi (or other) and attracted to trans people because they fall under a gender you're attracted to doesn't make you a chaser.

unfortunately there's too many labels out there, the only label we should apply with condemnation is fraudster, all the others are people's preferences and on this site we should accept these preferences, calling you a 'chaser' is fine, so long as its no more comdemnatory than calling someone a brat or a Domme, be a chaser, be happy, be honest, be true to yourself and your partners

Being attracted to a trans person certainly does not make you a chaser. A person seeking out trans people because they have a fetish for the fact that they are trans would be a chaser, so it depends on whether you find the person or them being trans the factor that makes them attractive to you.

I love mtf it’s so exciting

[Goodz]

I agree. … I think chasers is more and slang term that was brought out to be common how I see it use in the lifestyle.. no pun intended
So relax keep doing your thing

[in****]

Exactly. Nobody should be shamed for finding anyone attractive. From my point of view though is that if anybody wants to call me a chaser for being pansexual then ill just smile and say thank you.

[an****]

I’m trans ftm and I think maybe the term gets tossed around wayyyyy too much. To me, it means someone who fetishizes trans bodies to the point of being uncaring about the trans *person*. Sexualizing a trans body is fine by me if it’s consenting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ in my experience, people who are chasers will only want to talk about your transness, will push boundaries of what you’re comfortable with regarding dysphoria, will make tons of comments regarding common parts of the body that are dysphoric, etc.

Good read considering I have my first appointment to become mtf w/o bottom surgery. Gave me a ton of insight.

[ftmwonderland]

I honestly love having my body fetishized but I’m also just a dirty whore that loves any sexual attention

The way I see it is all for those who want to use us and leave us behind, they want the nights fun and never wanna talk again after. They don't want a meal at the restaurant, they want an appetizer to see if they like the flavor, and then decide if they want to never come back solely on the appetizer. (Sorry I like relating topics to food cause it's easier to understand than humans)

[Bi****]

I think it's because they have a long history of only being seen as sexual commodities rather than just human beings.

[hc****]

I personally AM a sexual being and thats part of what makes me human. So yes sexualize me and actually do it a lot 🙂‍↕️

I will say, as a trans man I am hesitant to label someone as a chaser because chasers to me actually go beyond the sexualizing of trans bodies into misgendering(even discrete misgendering), seeing me as trans before seeing the rest of me, and more importantly non-consensual objectification of me and my body just because I’m trans. There’s a difference between being attracted to a certain body type and feeling entitled to it

[Tr****]

I’m very attracted to trans men and women and am friends with and have had sex and kink play with several. I don’t see myself as a chaser. It’s a type I’m attracted to like I’m also attracted to black and Latin men and women a trans that doesn’t mean I’m strictly after sex with them. Friendships and dating aims also what I’m looking for. I’ve been around trans people enough that I’m just as attracted to the person besides the bodies.

A chaser doesn't care about the person they approach, they only see us as holes. They usually expect us to be an ideal of trans person that doesn't exist. Every single interaction I had with a chaser he expected I didn't have a beard, or body hair, or was somewhat disappointed with my reality.

They aren't good enough even to be used in return as they use us, because they also happen to be bad in bed.

[Pa****]

I am a gay trans man. When some men learn I am trans they do not see me as a man. And as such they see me as a way to avoid admitting that they are attracted to men.
This makes them unworthy. And as the other comment above mentions, they are usually bad in bed. Of course they would be. I fought to be strong enough to be me. Why should I accept less from a Dom.

[bo****]

Also, some of these chasers actually want us to detransition. They have wet dreams with the idea of being the reason a transmasc decides to drop the T.

Hello everybody, first contribution here ever. Great post, awesome thread. My two cents would be on the fact that many of these issues derive from the Porn Industry (not porn itself), and the compulsive need to niche and label everything we have. Take me, I am a Cis man, and I absolutely have a thing for trans women (MTF) ... Well, shouldn't that rule me out as a Cis man? I've also been with some men, furthermore. But they would have been more like means to an end, don't feel attracted to men. I say loose the labels. And moreover, man and woman are also labels. The "Colours" of people are also labels. Reality (scientific evidence) has proved itself to be more nuanced than that. And that is a fact, so we better start abiding by it. As for "the porn industry", it cares little about anybody, and simply feeds necessities that itself has created. Drug dealers at their worst (cos I know some dealers which are splendid people). The craving for holes and sticks and the nullifying the people they belong to.

That doesn't mean we all must be pansexual and poly-lovers because differences don't exist and love must be free. They do exist and we are triggered by some rather than others. If I say I don't like men, I'm not being entirely true and I have to be aware of that. There are some (behavioural, hornonal, cultural, chemical...?) traits that put me off. Traits that seem to disappear when the person in front of me considers herself to be a "woman". No matter the point in her transition she finds herself on, whether she's been through surgery or not, hormone therapy or any other step.

If we manage to rewire all that the Porn industry has fucked in our brains and stop "chasing" holes and sticks. If we finish with labels steering our decisions, and take control of our bearings. We won't be "Chasers" anymore, and we won't burn the bridges beforehand to people (such as me) and relations that can be awesome. We clean our "doors of perception" and everything will be cleaner too.

Ps: (this is an opinion, and opinions are like butts. Everybody has one - paraphrasing, here) there is one thing I would advocate for, regarding an issue that doesn't concern me and should get the fuck out of, but I need to mention. Surgery that subtracts tools for pleasure you are equipped with well deserves a second thought. Not saying it is wrong, but it will diminish your pleasure intake. And because it will matter only to idiotic third parts, apart from yourself (and if you need it, go for it). And getting pleasure is part of being happy, and being happy is most of what there is.

Written, but sure as hell not revised,

R.

While each person has a slightly different definition of “Chaser”, I think it’s sometimes easier to compare the situation to… say, a feeder/eater or the like.

There are trans kids who really enjoy being fetishized, and will openly look for chasers.

Then again, there are plenty of us who don’t want that, and would prefer to explore kink without our transness being the main focus.

If a feeder and an eater agree to things consensually, that’s great. If a feeder just walks in the room and starts shoving pastries in a stranger’s face, that’s gross.

TL;DR: Don’t be a dick head and you’re probably fine.
