  Just got here the day before yesterday.  

 I took a kink test that day. I found out I was 48% vanilla.

I had a hard time believing this. For years my interests have included fisting, piss, puke, enemas, gapes, speculum play, breath play, hardcore facefuck puking, domination porn,  hentai, and probably more. Point being, my tastes can get kind of out there, and there's no way I could be into all that and be very vanilla. Then I figured out what it was: a good chunk of the questions were BDSM related, and I've never had an interest in any of that. I'm not into ***, and I couldn't keep a straight face when I'd tried to roleplay. Since I wasn't interested in bdsm all those questions counted against me.

So I started looking into it. Found out that a lot of it wasn't what I expected it to be. My girlfriend and I thought the D/s dynamic seemed like it might be cool. I got on some sites and forums and started looking into it, and it kind of awakened something in me. I re-took the test, having found some new interests, and got a 92% overall score. My girlfriend got 100% Brat, which sounds about right. 

Also, my gf took the test and I got 97% Brat trainer and she got 100% Brat. Apparently it was meant to be.

We're both the kind of people who jump right into new interests, sexual or not, immersing ourselves completely in the culture and lingo. I learned about the BDSM archetypes. I visited multiple sites and forums, learning everything I could.My girlfriend and I talked about it and decided to do it. We started and then something happened to me. This side of myself came out, a Dom side, and my girlfriend and I went with it. She's a natural sub, and took to it like a fish to water. In almost no time we were shoulder-deep in it; face slapping, belt smacking, choking from the front and behind,  fisting, name calling, and eventually knife play, all in one night. We woke up happy, still in that mindset, agreeing to become Dom and sub. It it bleeds over into the non-sexual part of our lives, so be it. She's given me almost total control sexually, and gradually I'm getting control in other areas. It's becoming more like a real D/s relationship.
