I heard some say that the kinks(and fetishes) get darker and darker when viewing porn. What do you all think?

I think for some, it can be a bit like *** and chasing harder and harder core porn for a thrill, but don't think that's necessarily the case for all.

The biggest danger with porn is people who can't separate the fantasy it depicts from the reality, and that's particularly true of BDSM porn that often presents the stereotypical whips and chains view and shows it as being quite a harsh thing, when the reality is a lot more sensual for many people.

Yes *some* of the activities are harsh when taken at face value, but in reality they can be quite intimate and sensual.

I would say now with the Internet if wanna watch it then it few clicks an links away so there's a danger of being able to see things your not ready for and sadly some struggle with the line between fantasy and reality. I'm on Fetlife and sadly alot more stories of girls falling prey to bad and false 'Doms'

I think people's fantasies change if they get introduced to new ideas (through any means) or from doing fantasies and wanting more

Exactly same for me. Know what I like and only view focused around my personal interests. Occassionly will look at something not aware of our of curiousity. I'm 44, so at this stage of life and for sometime now have been clear about where am.

@Cheekysub247that sounds normal. I'm sure some end up going darker, but definitely not the case for me. The only thing I can think that was ah oh that's interesting and I could engage with a bit of that is the Ponygirl thing. I'm quite receptive and dull really and it's always going back to the same old videos. I don't tend to view porn often if it all when in a relationship. Bring single it's not a daily thing but its regular when have the urges.

A limit for me has always been women crying and while a lot of things can give me an erection I'm cogent enough to know what fits within my values and what doesn't. Real *** is pretty disturbing and not something I ever found erotic.
