This is something i would also love skme pointers on. When i try to spank myself with a crop etc. there is something that happens in my mind and makes me slow down just before impact. Its like an instinct i cant seem to override on my own

Use a flogger - a long one is best and flog yourself backwards over the shoulder and down the back. Like the monks used to do (kinky old buggers). Or you can put an elastic band around the wrist, upper arm, foot or thigh and twang it. It is hard to use a crop on yourself - the inner thigh is probably the easiest area to hit.
