SeniorBDSM.com specialises in mature BDSM. If you consider yourself a senior, into BDSM and looking for a mature partner, a niche site might be an option. But, is it worth giving SeniorBDSM.com a try? In serving our vision to be the most trusted BDSM and Fetish community, we asked Victoria Blisse (The Queen of Smut) to find out.

SeniorBDSM.com Visual Appeal | Lacking Wa-hey! 

Nothing strikes me as being very specific about the images on the front page of SeniorBDSM.com. The writing, however, is very specifically aimed at those kinksters of more mature years and those seeking a relationship with them.

The rest of the desktop site (there's no native app) is fairly inoffensive with a simple grey and black theme. Most of the links you need are in the top bar, and the same links are repeated at the bottom of the page too, saves you scrolling back up every time you want to hop to another area of the site.

Senior BDSM Navigation and User Feel | Straight forward 

Signing up to SeniorBDSM.org can be done by just answering six short questions. Easy enough but sadly the gender options are limited, having to choose male, female or couple for yourself and who you're looking for. I wish more dating sites included a more extensive choice of gender identities to choose from. 

Next, you put in your date of birth, email address and pick a password. You can choose several things you're into from a couple of lists. One lists the kind of relationship you're looking for but includes 'creampie' in with hookups and regular meets, and the other is what you're looking for including terms such as 'sugar daddy' and 'toyboy'. However, I found the word 'puma' confusing, but apparently, a puma is a thing according to urban dictionary. Who knew? Not me clearly. 

I was then prompted to fill in my profile with a title and a description of who I am and what I want. I used to term 'masochist' in my write up and got a warning box pop up, saying that it was a term that might get picked up in moderation. Weird for a site with BDSM in the title. 

When you've added a photo and your profile is complete, everything is a simple click away. The site is easy to use. However, there doesn't seem to be anything particularly aimed at a more mature audience. 
 

Senior BDSM Community Feel | Mainly Personal Ads 

All the points of communication on SeniorBDSM.com are used by people to post personal ads. The forums are full of personal ads as are the blogs. It's a shame because there is lots of scope for fun, community connections but as these don't seem to be moderated, all you see is people writing adverts for hookups. There is a variety of people on the site of all ages, but predominantly, they are men. If you're looking for this style of communication to find hookups, then SeniorBDSM.com could work for you. 

Is Senior BDSM Free? If You Only Want to View  

SeniorBDSM.com is mostly accessible for free but to view videos and photos you need to purchase a premium account. Messaging is challenging, though. There are rules over who you can and can't message and how but it's complicated to work this out. You can set up an automatic message to send to people who are registered in your area. I'd recommend saying it's an auto message in it so that people know that because it will be sent to everyone, no matter age, sex, interests and you don't want to cause offense. So you can use messaging, but not freely. I found it very frustrating. 

A premium account costs £22.86 a month, but you can make it cheaper per month by signing up for multiple months at once, but I suggest checking the site out for free before committing to several months upfront. 
 

Senior BDSM.com Help and FAQ's | Help, I Can't Find it!

Apart from a few messages on signing up with tips for using SeniorBDSM.com, there isn't a help page or a FAQ. There is a help desk you can send a message too, but there's no indication of how long it'd take to get an answer. 
 

SeniorBDSM.com Final Thoughts | For Curious Kinksters

There are lots of kinksters on Senior BDSM, and there's plenty of content to check out, but the site isn't straightforward to use for free. It's filled with personal ads and others looking to hook up for kinky fun so, if that sounds like your thing, give it a look!
