Geared Ireland has been at the centre of Dublin's vibrant fetish community since 2013. A not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers, it organises hugely popular fetish events for men, offering them many varied opportunities to explore their desires in a safe, sex-positive, and always empowering environment. Since Geared Ireland was formed back in 2013, it has held over 50 events at the Fibber Magees live music venue in Parnell Street, Dublin. The Geared Ireland parties happen on a Saturday night. Visitors are welcomed into a friendly, all-inclusive space where they can enjoy a late-night bar - and all manner of fetish delights. There is a dress code for these Geared Ireland parties. Full details are available on the website. However, Geared Ireland has deliberately made this dress code as broad and flexible as possible. This is in recognition of the frequently high prices of fetish gear. The goal is to make their events accessible to all men interested in exploring a fetish and kink lifestyle. You can expect to men in leather and biker gear, rubber outfits, military uniforms, sports gear, underwear, all types of restraints, and even corsetry, and delectable burlesque attire. In addition to the Saturday night parties at Fibber Magees, Geared Ireland has held a huge number of other fetish events. These have included bondage workshops, fundraising nights, and participation in Dublin pride. The emphasis at Geared Ireland is firmly on kink, and the organisation has, consequently, played a pivotal role in Leather Pride Dublin. It has also hosted prominent titleholder competitions, including Mr. Leather Ireland. A strong sense of community is everything to Geared Ireland. Refreshingly, it is not out to make a profit. It exists to bolster Ireland's fetish community. One of the chief goals is to provide welcoming and inspirational events in which local people can explore their fantasies. Geared Ireland has a strict no sex or *** on the premises policy. The usual rules on consent apply to all of its events. Whether you're a kink aficionado or a newbie making those first steps on your fetish journey, Geared Ireland is there to help guide the way.
