Boston Unbuttoned is a free blog with the goal of helping people find sex-positive events and Boston, Massachusetts - and surrounding areas.
This is a much-needed, well-presented web resource for both experienced kinksters and those just starting out and looking to meet and mingle with like-minded people.
Boston Unbuttoned has a clear mission. Its goal is to promote consensual, sex-positive pursuits. Crucially, it recognises the diversity of our communities and is committed to helping people forge meaningful connections.
Above all, Boston Unbuttoned stands for a bold, unapologetic, inclusive celebration of all the wonderful, varied forms of sexual expression out there. The goal is to inspire people to explore their sexuality to its full potential in a safe, supportive environment - and it shows you just how you can go about this in Boston.
The blog notes that erotic culture in Boston can be tough to find and access. While the city is a vibrant, cosmopolitan centre, the sensual delights on offer are initially not as evident as in west coast cities like Seattle and that bastion of sexual freedom San Francisco.
However, Boston Unbuttoned assures its readers that an erotic community most certainly does exist in Boston. It's just more challenging to find it. What's the reason for this, it muses. Perhaps it has something to do with Boston's Puritan heritage. But both residents and visitors need not ***. Plenty is going on in Boston for the sexual libertine.
Sex-positive events are listed on Boston Unbuttoned's calendar. There's also a separate page listing 'Boston-Area Lush Life Events'. Here you can find links to meetups and links to other websites, such as Poly Boston, for the polyamorous.
Boston Unbuttoned also lists classes and kink/sex education within the area. This includes Sex Education Institutes in nearby states, live workshops, and a link to the Kink Academy, which is a superb resource for online sex education videos.
Additionally, you'll find a page on local fetish gear providers and links to resources that will help your spiritual and personal growth.
Visit this lovingly curated blog, and you won't remain buttoned up for long.
