Okay here's a hint I looked high and low where I knew to go but on the app it had been zapped. But I found it exactly where I thought it should be on the website.
Twice it been that way for me.
So here's my hint. If you think you know where it should be, but there it's not. In that spot upon the web it shall be got.

I had found the first four and then somehow lost them like a day ago? It said I donated them but I didn't do anything purposely and when I found my fifth it just said I had one, am I screwed and unable to complete the collection now?

These were my clues for the last two days.  Todays icon # 06 is not released yet.

All you need to do is go back to where you first collect the icon and it will be available for you to recollect.  As an icon is released it remains available for the entirety of the game whilst it is up and running.
