I’m not a sub,

I hear you say,

I question, I demand,

I want my own way.

I’m not a sub,

A taunt you throw,

I am not worthy

To kneel at your toes.

I’m not a sub,

A jibe you make,

I know my mind

and I make mistakes.

 I’m not a sub,

You’re right, it’s true,

I’m more than a sub,

but I’m definitely not a sub to you.

But maybe the problem is clear to see,

I’m not a sub

because…

You’re not a Dom to me.

You’re not a Dom, 

you could never be true.

A Dom doesn’t lie,

That could never be you.

I became entangled

in your web,

But when you got caught out,

You lied instead.

So many chances

For you to be true.

So many options,

you blew it, it’s through.

A sub shouldn’t need

To question her place.

She should walk beside you,

With honour and grace.

A Dom shouldn’t need

Lies and deceit,

They should want to be honest,

They should know not to “cheat”.

You’re right when you say

I’m not a sub,

I’d never submit to you,

That’s the rub.
