Day 5, clue 9: there can be exceptions, but you don’t want the consequences as the transgressor…..

Clue #9 been bratty is fun when u talk, the consequences maybe not so much.

Clue #10: Salt-N-Pepa’s song always gets me moving…..
...but keeping advised was preferred, which sounds like a clue for #10.
Day 5 Clue 10: Depending on how curious you are you can see as much or as little as you'd like.

How do we gift icons again? About 3 hunts ago I was able, discovered on accident, select the 'heart logo' on the user's profile yes? I do this, and just takes me to my findings. Iv tried a few different people, and make sure there found count is not current to whats been released. TY!

Could we please get some clarification as to how the mechanics for bonus points awarded for VIP/Premium members work in the context of gifted icons? But what if a member is not upgraded, collects a number of 30-point icons, upgrades their membership, then gifts them away - I'm aware the icons can potentially be found again but in the interim does this mean they actually have a points deficit? Similarly if a member collects a number of icons for 60 points each and then downgrades to regular membership while the Hunt is still running, does gifting an icon they collected previous to that deduct 30 points (which would allow somebody to in theory have zero icons yet still have earned a bunch of points from the hunt), or 60?

✅ First statement, you’re right:
If an icon is gifted while a member is upgraded, it currently “costs” double points. This is intentional, as it helps prevent farming or system ***.

💡 About gifting after upgrading:
Yes, in that case, a user could temporarily experience what feels like a “points deficit”. For example, if they earned 30 points for an icon and then gifted it away while upgraded, it would count as 60 points. If this happens, they can simply find the egg again to recover those points. The system doesn’t “penalize” them permanently; it just adjusts according to their membership at the time of gifting.

🔄 When a user downgrades:
If a member changes back to a regular membership, the cost of gifting also adjusts, it’s reduced by half. For this test version, the multiplier is tied directly to the current membership status. If the community enjoys this setup, we’ll explore improving it further in future iterations.
