Vetting People

Recommended Posts

A lot of women on here use filters so just because they have face pics on their profile doesn’t mean it’s their face. The fact they refused to do a selfie for you suggests they were fake or didn’t want you to see what they actually look like.
Hahaha this is so smart. There are so many fakes and bots on this site. And I think this is a smart way to check it.
Not at all especially with the bots and people pretending to be other people
Not at all, of course if they have profile pictures why would it be an issue, deffo best to vet and keep safe
Thanks everyone!!! I didn’t think I was asking for too much… but was a little concerned when it happened twice in a row.
I asked one for a picture of her holding a fork. She sent me a copy of her profile Pic with a fork photo shopped in her hand.
Pretty sure a lot of these dudes probably want your feet pics so that not an issue 😂
Not weird at all I like to make sure I have someone real and know who I'm talking to because I myself have used this app and although Ive yet to find anyone in my area to match my kink yet I've still had some dates from on here and face it nobody likes being car fished and I right ?
Yes, Google reverse image search and tinyeye etcetera... also good idea to check you own pictures once in a while 👍 (Cybersecurity student here fyi)
I honestly hadn't thought of that, but I think I'll be employing it since I seem to be getting a lot of spam/blank accounts, and I only made a new account last night!
I always ask for a "proof of life" pic- selfish with only pinky and ring finger extended. Some people complain or even block me, but I just assume they were fakes anyway.
Seems legit. I’d start there. If a woman asked for that from me, I’d happily oblige. Plus, it seems like a simple request.
If the person reacts strongly to the request and try’s to tell you it is weird, they are probably trying to deflect and they are probably fake. Scammers frequently try to put you on the defensive so that you will hopefully forget about all their red flags.

I just ask for their phone number, or social media and investigate that way.

I am 100% all for verification and I’ll send any picture anyone wants to show I’m real but under no circumstances will I give out my phone number or my social media accounts to a perfect stranger when we’ve just started chatting. One quick google search and you could obtain my address and the names and locations of my family members. That’s not safe in the least.

Photos on here / sent / socials can be screenshot, and names looked up.
It's best to make up a secondary, spam social acct, like Snapchat. If someone screenshots your pics / vids on Snap, it notifies you at least.
Send a photo of yourself with 3 fingers up / whatever. State "sorry i have found fake accts on here. This is me, please send the same type of photo back of yourself, thanks! Just want to make sure you are real haha".
Or ask them to write their name, small, on their hand / arm & pic it near their face.
If they get weird, it's prob a fake acct.
I ask for the same thing all the time. And feel that this should be an encouraged system. Some of us are not fake but choose to not give our real name to most bc we have been scammed or had our trust ***d in some way. So yeah I support this
Bruh if they think it’s weird it’s bc they’re lying. It’s such an easy thing to do
Scammers are pretty lazy, its not too difficult to spot them i find.
Asking for a photo is perfectly acceptable, however it seems that on this app (and all apps of this sort) there are upwards of 70% fake profiles. Either they are just one picture and no real profile or they are three- four stolen pictures and someone who is using ai generated text to try and get you to go to a different app to text so they can try and scam you.
