AI itself is rarely the issue, it usually comes down to the misinformation fed into and the *** of that misinformation. The problem I see with this is that for someone new to BDSM or looking to explore kinks is that they can very easily be fed a false narrative and unrealistic expectations. Which of course can lead to some very bad experiences for everyone involved if they participate IRL later down the line.

Honestly, I’m not a fan of how AI’s being used lately, especially with chatbots. Even here, you see tons of fake accounts—perfect-looking people who say they’re “never on this app” and try to move you to ***am or ask for your number. It’s annoying and makes the whole thing feel fake.

And yeah, even places like OnlyFans are letting creators use chatbots. I get that it helps them make more ***, but for the person on the other end, it’s rough. You think you’re talking to a real person, but you’re just chatting with a bot. Kinda kills the trust and connection part of it.

I worked in technology all my employed life and, as much as I support the use of technology to advance the quality of life for all, I champion the personal connection that said technology is increasingly being used to supercede.
I believe technology, including AI, are beneficial tools, but not to the detriment of genuine human connections.
I'm probably ASD too, so you'd think I'd think otherwise.

In terms of impact on connections I suspect it will likely be a bad thing, leading to further desensitisation and promoting negative attitudes (such as the incel mindset).

I am more concerned about things like this though, particularly the lack of responsibility demonstrated by AI platforms and generated content. Of course it absolutely does have a purpose but it should not be used so frivolously when the environmental impact is so great.

AI has its place. It's going to be a part of our lives whether we like it or not, a bit like what people thought back in the 90s when the Internet took off, look at us now!

AI is everywhere already but I think what people mean by AI now is Interactive AI, IAI.
Are you referring to Grok allowing adult generated material?

My concern, as with the interest full stop, is the lack of protection the *** have from it. A lot more needs to be done for age verficiation, it doesn't cover apps and sites that should ha e it in my view.

But thats all just my humble opinion

Most of these do flow into the kink world.

Like, actually these forums in the past couple of years (and over on fetlife) have had people make posts or discussion topics created by AI.   This to me is dishonest. Because these are not your words and you're passing them off as yours - and in most cases, not actually proof reading the content.   This said, putting something you HAVE wrote through AI for tone and formating, less of an issue. Asking AI for ideas on what to write about - less of an issue.  Passing off... an issue.  And does have this kinda problem also that someone is relying on a tool to speak for them which goes against the golden rule of "communication is key"

For art and videos there are both legal and ethical frameworks already.  Generally speaking a lot of art I don't have full issue wiht, again if it's clearly marked as AI.   But things to watch for when tinkering with content - is it a likeness of a real person? If so, you may fall foul into deepfake and revenge porn laws.  So stuff like friends, celebrities, etc. are all out for using for explicit content. (well, friends who aren't aware you're doing it) as is anything which is deliberately designed to deceive.

In itself, not new rules.

One other big thing to watch if you are creating explicit AI pictures/videos - is the person you're generating clearly above the age of consent?  Because stuff gets quite dubious there.  

But. It's here. And it's something else for people to watch out for.

I'm already going through these various dating apps and swiping left on like 90 percent of the women's profiles because the AI filters are so bad, their faces almost look like avatars. So you can count me out of using AI platform.

Forget the incel mindset, lol. Boys will look at the imagery.... girls however - there's a subreddit "MyGirlfriendIsAI" - several hundred subscribers. Another, "MyBoyfriendIsAI", 70,000 subscribers.

So whilst the image generation is pretty cool, I think its irrelevant. The generative text chat is where the problem is going to be.... as the meme says: "He vampired billionairely across the room, engulfing her sweetly self-inserty hair, she looked exaclty like [you, the girl reading this] and he was very vampirely and mysterious..." - yeah, we got way worse problems than images of big boobie catgirl waifus.

Data centres that produce gen ai polite the neighbouring towns and cause health issues and have lead to deaths. Everyone and their mum is talking about the water usage but that's just the environment it's actively harming people and that's not even touching on the misinfo that's lead to deaths and injuries. Or the fact that gen ai doesn't make anything from scratch it's all collages of stolen photos and art making it prone to count as stealing someone's likeness when it inevitably puts someone's face on your gen porn and they find out and didn't consent.

My biggest concern is misuse and defamation. Imagine someone make sex video of you that u don't approve of, or make it super weird and awkward and there nothing u can do about it. Also there are already report of police responding to fake video. With misuse of ai in the context of the sex the damage it can cause can be irreparable. Ie somone go balistic cuz a video is made of thier lover thats fake. 💀

There is no true AI yet. Just advanced chatbots with access to tons of data. So you’re not getting any real thinking. When something passes the Turing test, I’ll be a lot more interested. Though if I want to write out some wild fantasy I can.

I had some experience with AI chat bots designed for kinky experiences (and have designed a couple myself) and I think its a lot of fun, its like reading an erotica taylored for you. It takes some creativity and imagination for it tho, the general experience is similar to playing a tabletop rpg, but singleplayer, and its porn lmao

It won't do anything derogatory for you. It might give you suggestions, but won't actually get sexual in any way, shape or form. It's unfortunate, but AI is geared towards fixing and bettering life all around. Providing nothing but truth serum directly relating to positive outcomes

There's talk about OpenAI in December allowing much more adult-oriented conversations as long as it's legal of course. I wonder if it'll let people run through role-play scenarios or talk about kinks and whatnot. Apparently, it's not finalized yet.
