They pretty much changed my view on casual sex. I see them as a good tool to vent and not running around desperate. Giving me more space to look for relationship material instead of hook ups.

I've seen a AI JOI bot that has a patreon page earning $20k a month. I see the reddit subthreads with 100,000 members - oh that's the women's AI boyfriend one, the men don't seem to care about AI sex chatbots. But humanoid rubber-effect robots - I think they have to be very very very good to pass, otherwise that uncanny valley effect and need for constant cleaning and maintenance will make them less than a sextoy. You might as well watch a video with a hand-held toy if you need your imagination anyway.

But the fact is, average men are hornier than your average woman. This leads to and influx in female inboxes and interactions, leading them to be selective and leaving out a large group of said horny men, who need the toys to satisfy their urges. However for $50 I can get the machine on Amazon, and another $50 for a very dirty pair of women’s underwear and I’m good for weeks. This is a very important topic, I think we need to look at ourselves and treat each other better.
De**** Posted October 30 A robot will never replace the appeal of touching another human much less the intimacy created between people when having sex with each other. It seem almost trivially true to me that reciprocity that isn’t human in origin is worth less. A robot can, at best, simulate these innately human emotional processes. That being said a sex robot sounds like a fun time to me. And the potential for scene building is not to be ignored. Also there are always going to be people who for whatever reason don’t want to or can’t interact with other humans in that way. So hell, why not. The more tools the better.
