TimtheMerciless Posted November 17 I have heard this is a thing. Would love to hear if any guys (/gals) have experience of this ?
Deleted Member Posted November 17 It’s a thing. It’s important to negotiate boundaries and make sure you’re not getting manipulated to just hand over ***, but it’s a thing.
ey**** Posted November 18 Life Coach is one of those terms that isn't a protected term ANYONE can call themselves a life coach. What you got to ask yourself (or them) is what qualifies them -- like, maybe they do actually have a phd or something in a relevant field - or maybe they just bought a course online which is a grift.
St**** Posted November 19 Wait… a life coach or a sex coach? Because those things are very too different things. I’ve never encountered a life coach that was also a sex coach or vice versa. I would definitely check on credentials and also maybe be past people they have coached or whatever they seem to call it… It kind of seems like two completely different fields to me. At one point a time I did have a live coach and it had nothing to do with kinks or Femdom at all, and I consider myself a semi “coach” with femdom, but I would never call myself that and I don’t know any other person in the lifestyle that calls themselves to that if anything it’s a mentor.

ey**** Posted November 19 it's always worth knowing what is and isn't protected terms Therapist and Counsellor are also not protected terms. So it's then a case of looking at their qualifications and whether that is a recognised body.
