I have also been getting the "get verified" message from the app, going to "edit profile" shows that I am verified on both app and website.

It didn't sign me off either time. But I clicked it and it did nothing. So I exited the app and went back in and it was gone. Strange

Once again I get a match, she sends a message, and when I try to reply I get a message that they have to verify first.
Between that and needing to pay for gifts to like/message, this is the worst dating app I have ever used when it comes to user to user interactions.

I think I've figured out the whole "needing to pay for gifts to like/message" some users. I have a VIP subscription. I was under the impression (when I first started paying for it) that I would be able to like or send a message to anyone as a "VIP member," which turned out to be false. I'm fairly certain the reason I often can't like or message a profile I come across of someone I'm potentially interested in is that the person has set filters that prevent people with certain characteristics from contacting or liking them. For example, you can set filters for age, distance from your location, and many other criteria. The whole "send a gift to get their attention" suggestion is essentially a scam by the company that operates the Fet app and Fetish.com because they're implying that you will likely be able to chat with them if you first send them a gift (which costs "points" to send, and points, unless earned through various means on the app/website, cost real ***; therefore, the company often profits when people send gifts to other members). However, in my experience, before I realized all of that and was regularly sending gifts to other users in the hope that they'd then chat with me, I've NEVER had another user message me after I sent them a gift. So, my advice: don't send gifts to users when the app/site prompts you to in a pop-up, because it's extremely unlikely to have any effect.

Looks like FET is stuck on stupid. I’ve been here about a month and everytime I get here I’m stuck playing handsies with a fucking camera hand bunny that wants to play freeze frame🤦🏻‍♀️. Uhh verifying, and reverifying, and look at that reverifying again. If I wanted to play handsies with a rabbit I woulda charged the damn thing up and done a quicky vid! But not being able to show highlights of my red marks on my ass was the reason I came here tonight (nothing wrong with getting off on showing off the handwork of my well earned punishment for being so purposefully Bratty 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣, gotta luv it, I do) but after a month sitting playing with the rabbit hole to nowhere. i’m not sure where to put this as this app overall is poorly designed and executed. HERE GOES ANYWAY! I’m experiencing a problem when i click on a like or crushes i see the profile for less than a second the the error for verification saying “weve askd this profile to verify” i’ve checked the obvious settings but it’s consistently happening… id like to think im not a moron tho i’m certain there are those that would disagree, i feel like between that or the literal next morning notifications for convos last evening and the upgrade that seems to not be recognized until i log out then back in every so often that maybe my intelligence isn’t the problem

When the app/site displays the error message saying, “We’ve asked this profile to verify,” that means the profile you clicked on to view is currently “unavailable.” The reason could be because it’s temporarily banned because it accumulated too many warning points for committing rule ***s, or FET suspects the account as being fake or a scammer, usually due to user reports. The only way for an account that actually is a legitimate person to get out of that “unavailable” purgatory status is for the account owner to submit a selfie photo that shows the user (whose face matches the face in the profile photos that were already uploaded) holding up a piece of paper on which is written the account’s username. That’s what the error message is referring to by “asked this profile to verify.” I, too, have found that a large percentage of the profiles that view my profile or that are listed as “crushes” are in that “unavailable” status so that I can’t view their profiles but am instead shown that error message.
