Q: Hormones IUDs. Subs input pls.

Recommended Posts

So I really need input from other subs.
I recently started the pill, and then had a hormone IUD put in.

Now here comes my issue, I used to be able to take a lot of *** in play, but now I’m a weakling and can’t stand the amount of *** that was normal for me before I started the pill. Is this common?

Would it stop if I switched to the copper coil?

Input suggestions and advice welcome!
Thank you.
How long ago did you have it put in?? Because when I first got mine put in my hormones where wonky, until they balanced out. It took my about 6-7 months until it was balanced out.
I know you asked for input from subs , but I can give some semi scientific input here … it’s the proviso that Odin tolerance is very much dependent on mood and environment in most situations . In general oestrogens are thought to heighten *** perception , whilst progesterones are suppose to reduce it ( that’s mostly research from the trans community on their hormones ) . It would be interesting to know if your hormonal coil was the commonest one , a mirena coil .. which releases progesterone at very low doses to affect uterus lining only , or another type . And which pill you were started on ( most commonly it would be a progesterone only pill with a mirena coil , such as desogestrel ) . If norethisterone , to totally shut down menstrual bleeding , that is a very strong systemic progesterone . Most other pills for this sort of thing would be a combination of an oestrogen and a progesterone . Of course , that’s all theory , so what is happening to you is a consequence of your individual response to your specific therapies… but previous suggestions of waiting and adjusting , or discussing alternatives with an expert are quite right . Just bear in mind your *** tolerance is a synthesis of Everything going on in your life … including medicines , food , alcohol , work situation, emotional situation , finances , enthusiasm for kink, partner(s) , etc , and will naturally vary with time and situation . Apologies , I suspect that this is a rather male , rather mechanistic , rather geeky answer. Best of luck finding the right solution for yourself .
Can I ask what is probably a stupid question. Are you on the pill & have an IUD? If you do thats really wrong you need a new doctor if they have you on both.
Throwing it out there that hormone changes in general can affect many things, like *** tolerance
I'd have this conversation with a medical professional and go with their advice, not an internet forum. Believe it or not, that's a common question for them.
I had the copper iud for a year and when I had sex it was very ***ful for me around the time of my period and had low sex drive
If this isn't working for you discuss other options with your doctor. You don't even (really) need to say why but it would help them understand why so they can pick a suitable option. Hormones are messy (lot of different tissues have oestrogen receptors) and responses to them vary from person to person so doctors are used to patients coming back with 'i don't like this' comments.
My adult kid had issues like this. Sometimes the placement is wrong or if you have other issues they like endometriosis it can be ***ful. Turned out she had a bicornate uterus and no one realized. It wasn’t even in the right place! If it’s effective and not causing harm maybe try a bumper to avoid impact right at the cervix? I don’t think the hormones alone would do it but who knows - I know the pill can make me emotional and overly sensitive. My best friend swears by her copper only one.

They have had me on Vinelle 75 mg for a month, and I had the small Kyleena 19.5 ut in, and was advised to continue to take the Vinelle for one week concurrent with the Kyleena.

So that’s 75mg of Desogestrel once a day. Then 19.5 Levonorgestrel IUD, and had the pill ontop for a week. Honestly it changed my boobs so much it hurt wearing a bra. It changed everything for me in way I’d say it 110% negative.

That’s too long for me, I am having it removed on the 15th.

I saw an article of a baby holding the iud and thought it was Jason Bourne baby photo. NOTHING IS GUARANTEED. Some medications counteract Birth controls antibiotics for one. It all varies the deprovera shot mad woman retain water from what I saw and the woman said in my area. It’s truly about finding what works for your body. Condoms always a good start but face it ppl get in the moment. I only mention the counter actives because it should be a First Question on what to avoid that may counter act or cause adverse side effects taken the medication of any sorts.

I am going to talk to the doctors about it, don’t worry. I’m just out here trying to gather some information about what to expect nothing more. I see mixed reviews. Here’s the thing. Master and I want kids, but we want to wait a bit with it. So I tried the hormone IUD just for that, but a condom will be just as good. That’s why I am asking, to get perspective.
