I’ve never been a lingerie girl, but I have a boudoir photoshoot I’m doing in March and need to get some ASAP.

Ladies, can you give me some of the online companies you like for quality, pretty lingerie? My tastes run more to the “innocent” and pretty styles than overtly sexy or hardcore. Also, I’m a curvy girlie, if that matters.

Just got my first order from Thistle and Spire - definitely felt sexy trying on, but haven't had a chance to get use out of them yet.
Adore Me is size inclusive, has good everyday wear too.

I've never been for lingerie because it will just end up on the floor (my thoughts). Then the Wife got a simple leopard print button up shirt with shorts. She is so damn sexy in it. I have a picture of her sitting on the bed with the top unbuttoned. It's probably one of my top 5 favorite pictures of her.

So remember, simple can be sexy.

I tend to agree with your stance, which is why I’ve never really owned any. Under normal circumstances I much prefer the sort of thing you describe your wife wearing. But as this is a professional boudoir shoot, the whole point is to push myself out of my comfort zone and embrace my body no matter what or how little I’m wearing. Thank you for comment.

I did one in August...best thing I ever did. I got several pieces from Amazon, quick easy returns. They have fishnet bodysuits and dresses. Dont forget thigh stockings. Also I used a mans white dress shirt.. Not saying we aren't already beautiful but the photographers know exactly how to pose your body and lights and shadow. I used some for my private gallery if you want to look for ideas

I’m going to suggest a few, but keep the colors simple. Darken the fucking awesome purple hair a bit. Keep your skin out of the sun. And jet black lingerie.

Great advice! I’ll definitely have a color refresh done about a week before. I never even considered the tan lines. 😬 I have some from my trip in November but they’ve faded quite a bit, so hopefully they’ll be gone in 2 months. Jet black, though? Black feels super…deviant, I guess, for lack of a better word. I wouldn’t have thought to wear black bc it feels uncharacteristic, like the color of a seductress or something. My vibe is more “innocence waiting to be ruined.” 🙈

Typically professional shoots have a large wardrobe to choose from if you don’t own a lot of your own. Is the photographer is really good they should be able to give you some suggestions for vibe and body type. Have fun! 🤩

Curvy Kate have some lovely ones. Pour Moi. Basques are a great idea with suspenders and stockings. Look very flattering and compliment curvy bodies too. Particularly if you have lacy French knockers with them instead of a thong. Can get in more innocent styles and colours too.

Google “basques clothing” for ideas. And a link came up for me for smart photography which was talking about styles to wear for photo shoots.
