I've been in the sex work industry for over 10 years. I know a lot about kink and I love to learn about people's kinks, but my experience acting on those desires is very limited. How do I engage more with a community that I've been adjacent to for so long?

In short. You just show up.

There's already a lot of experience you can bring in and share (even though that's not a pre-requisite), while a lot you can get out of it.

Some from the sex industry have found mixed experiences when coming into munches/community/etc - some folk gets suspicious that you're looking for clients (some have done this to try to find some and it doesn't end well) and others assume you'll play with them (you're under no obligation to) but then a lot with laid down boundaries have positive experiences.

The best advice I can give you is one that was given to me a long time ago. Stay curious and go to reputable sex club(s) near you. Go to an establishment where you can watch, observe and have the option to do just that or if you are looking to participate you can do that as well. In Vegas we have a few of these.
