Yes, I do. A lot of guys wanting to try being Dominated but it’s just a fantasy and they have no intention of going through with it. Or it’s just like a Q&A session where they’re clearly getting off on it. I want to meet people just as much as you do. Luckily, I’ve been doing this for over 20 years now so I can always tell who is a genuine sub and who is just fantasising and I quickly just drop them. I totally understand, sadly I just can't seem to make that initial connection. I've been on fetlife and on here now for 9 months. It's the judgement and labelling automatic labelling that is disheartening.

Hard to make a connection when there are so many fakes, i have found even with voice based rp fun many just want to rip you off demanding cash and then vanishing. Fetlife is a zoo now and to be well avoided but then again so many sites are the same

Yes you are indeed being scammed. Never send *** to anyone you have never met before and if anyone asks you to pay them before meeting them, they are clearly scamming you.

Common sense needs to prevail here.
Spend enough time on sites like this one, and you will realise -and recognise the patterns of scams -and scammers.

“Remote Domination” - the real thing anyway, takes effort, and time. Possibly even moreso than in-person Domination.

BUT.

It is also seen as an easy way to make (and scam) *** by many unscrupulous people.

I am a Dominant Male, and I STILL get messages from so-called Pro Dommes, offering me online Domination for a few hundred pounds here and there.

They don’t even bother to read my profile.

Ask questions. LOTS of questions.
Scammers don’t want to waste time on chat, especially when they could trip themselves up doing so.

Anyone who expects payment before any conditions have been discussed, or an arrangement has been reached that you believe is fulfilling your needs, should be avoided like the plague.

Just had an encounter with some scammer a half hour ago. They looked okay so I messaged them a simple hello let's talk about intrests and go from there. As a result im met with a hello slut, you will always address me as mistress, and a description of what they plan to do to me lol, the real kicker was them wanting to add me on ***am. I knew it was a scam right away. But I like to mess with them. They ended up blocking me lol I blocked and reported them

I have nothing against ***. If people consensually choose to give them *** for nothing, that’s their personal decision, regardless of anyone else’s opinion.

That said, what concerns me is that this person doesn’t seem to offer any reassurance that they’ll actually honor the agreement. You’d be taking a real financial risk on something that may or may not be a scam.

to expand on my prior comment, it feels like the person has tweaked two common scams into one

A common one was a "I want you to be my slave but first you need to buy your training collar and butt plug" (oddly specific) and she will send you a link - and the scam kinda works because the mark thinks "well, even if it doesn't work I'll have this training stuff" except - well - it's a fake link.  And even if the person DID receive these items - they're fairly inexpensive for basic ones and the price on the link was something like £100 

Another common one would be that the Domme would want and push to meet to play but  it would be in a dungeon and again, the link was to a site with places that didn't exist - I think one advertised as being a "discreet chain" and had a long list of loose post code areas - actually looking some up on google maps was a laugh... but yeah - and the price for hire on these would be low (but enough to make a scam worthwhile) so for example dungeons in the UK tend to be around 40-60 per hour hire.  Overnight tends to start at 300.  

Then on the flip look at Pro Domme sessions, these vary by region but typically £150-£250 per hour.      So yeah, effectively someone offering what amounts as a Pro Domme session for a couple of hundred total, should be a bit of a concern when you consider what the prices should be - but then this is also why some marks fall for it.

Of course, if you did get talking to someone and did want to meet for play it MIGHT be a dungeon is the best place, but it's probably then worth researching yourself what the option is around with any agreement on who is contributing what.  It probably would also be better to have at least a coffee first.
