Cute and kinky might be a problem?

Recommended Posts

Oh course! It’s just being honest about what you want…. More than just sex. Say that upfront, and eventually you will find the right one. It’s going to take time, but it’s definitely possible. I am a married, monogamous Demi-sexual. You will get there.

Start the relationship building with friendship and trust, not kink. Appreciation for the same things is important, but even more so is appreciation for you as a whole human being. If they show respect to you before that *** side of you is shared with them, that respect should extend to that as well naturally

I would say that you found a good wording for it.

That's what Kink should be, don't entertain anyone who doesn't respect aftercare and the emotional connection underneath it all. Write some clear boundaries and that you want to have a strong emotional connection before exploring physically :)

Be very strict about how you are treated, even early on. Demand respect and the right people will stand out

I feel the same way I wear kinky PVC outfits and pvc stripper boots in my own home and have a inflatable pool toy kink but I just want some woman to look past that and see me for me and maybe explore those kinks with me and maybe find out something about herself that she never knew she had.

Girlypop, you just worded it perfectly. Having a close relationship so you know someone cares is critical for any type of hard kink, and is good as a basis for relationships in general, kink aside

Just wanna throw my two cents in, but I feel like this might be a "boundaries" issue. You got to know where to set your clear healthy boundaries. If you know you like something but only under certain conditions, then be clear about it and if they're not willing to respect that then they can fuck right on off. Not as good advice as some of the others but I hope it helps.

Start with the connection first, then introduce the kink

I have the opposite problem- I’m a great, upstanding guy on paper-no one would guess I’m kinky. How do I find a woman who is a lady in the streets, but…? I wish we could all just throw it out there.

Think James hit it on the spot. Putting the kinks out there definitely helps filter our incompatibilities up front. From there, it's your job to see how they treat you, and if they come in hot and not bringing the emotional connection you need, you give em the ✌️

Well, if you’re looking for a connection with a man, I think they’re just wired to look at us as meat
Considering I used to be wired that way I think I have a pretty good understanding, luckily there are other options out there although I haven’t had any luck so I don’t know how good my advice can be. I’m hopeful though.
I’m pretty weird, but I’m certainly not the weirdest out there especially on this site lol

I think no matter what you like and who you are. That’s how men see women in general. It sucks because I feel the same as you but it seems everyone you try to get to know ends up making everything just about sex. When it’s so much more deeper than that

I’ll clarify.. not ALL men.. most of of them*

I'm sorry that's what many of y'all have experienced. I hope one day that's no longer the case

Just be blunt about your emotional needs, but don't say what you're sexual interests are at all. I would say go as far as dismissing those conversations altogether UNTIL a solid foundation of trust and safety has been established first. Hold firm to your boundaries and make others earn your information, but don't hand that information over freely. Too many people will manipulate and con their way through until they get what they want and then discard you like a used tissue. 💯 You deserve to have your needs and wants met. ❤️ Good luck!

That's a tough one; you're basically trying to fight against 50 million years of evolution 🧬. To find ONE guy that can do that/ suppress it enough to satisfy your request is already extremely unlikely; add on the different physical qualities he would have to have for you to consider him attractive, and your odds of finding him are even WORSE.
So, you have to offer something of value TO THE MEN YOU SEEK other than just sex. If sex is the only aspect of yourself that appeals to men, then that's all we'll be interested in.
Be bigger than your genitalia: have actual passions, hobbies, interesting stories, and be the kind of partner you would want to have, even outside of sex. Don't be combative, don't be sly, don't have an agenda with your relationship; love freely, and be honest about what you want; always say what you mean, and MEAN whatever it is you say.

Hope this helps, best of luck 🤞

I would like to add something from a guy's perspective who is also just coming out of a 3.5yr relationship: I just dont want to waste a bunch of time and effort again. I have a not-so-normal kink that I've been DYING to explore for over 10 yrs now. I am ready for the long-term, but I need to make sure they're atleast open to trying before we get too involved.

Unfortunately a really common thing in my experience, especially in kinky settings and communities. I’ve personally taken to leading with my personality (in terms of SFW interests and photos) in my bio, and I recently took out mention of specific kinks, because I was getting a crazy amount of messages I didn’t like. Most people won’t be willing to put the effort into getting to know you if they’re only in it for sex.
